ok since no one has bothered to read all the pages let me give you give you a recap. on pages 12 and 13 are my arguments on what the first and second creatures are. also for those that don't read we had agreed upon naming the first creature Charlie-1 and the second Charlie-2. Also for those who don't read all the threads dealing with that docu. i have also posted on a thread about the marine picture located around 3:02. Now unless u know military clothing, uniform wear, and the given fact bungie follows pattern even if there not so obvious u cannot tell me that that marine in the pic is a MC. if u think that than your an ignorant person and i say read all the material related to halo and play the games over and over again until u've memorized the cinematics and the hidden messages Bungie is notorious for leaving in it's games. Now to the marine pic. I'm sure for those who saw the pic that they saw that marine wore a helmet similar to ones in h1 and h2. the marine's helmet has the features of a marine helmet seen in h2 at beginning of outskirts. now also the helmet has the "boom" mike common on marine helmets. on the far right screen there are pics of military pilot helmets. most of them are standard issue ones give the plane crews and air craft flight deck crews. so if you can put 2 and 2 together, that marine in the pic is a marine pilot. and dont say it could be a regular marine b/c regular marines have only 3 type of covers. 1. cloth-type hat-seen worn by nco's only (sergeant Johnson's hat). 2. standard infantry helmet- this helmet is worn by the regular marines that are not NCOs (helmet the marines with green armor on wear). 3. ODST full face cover helmet. this helmet is worn by special infantry divisions (ODST) it completely covers the face with a glass-type faceplate. Only pilots were the eye cover on their helmets. i hope people who read this post will become "elighten" at least on this small subject

So, many of you have seen the docu about the Halo 3 teaser. Of course it contained easter eggs.

At 3:00 mins, you'll see a few renders on the monitor of a alien. Is it Covenant? Is it a Grunt? Or is it a Forerunner? And what about that new weapon? Who knows!

And have you seen anymore easter eggs? Tell us about it!

So, time to discuss!

PLEASE NO LAME IDEAS THAT ARE CHILDISH.

You guys are wierd for trying to speculate on every single video that bungie releases...

didn 't any1 even see my link its at the freaking top of page 10! look!!! you can clearly see the grunt head without that breathing thing

Here is a better version.
i have another speculation. thanks to pic provided by elite2188if you look at the face of the first "thing" you see it's jaw is slightly closed and if look right above the jaw there is a muscle line leading to the nose. now if remember the pre-halo2 screenshots you might remember the grunt ones. remember the one with no mask on. if look at its face you will see i doesn't have that muscle line. this suggest a few things. 1. its not a grunt but another new alien in the covenant caste structure. 2. its is a, well lets just use this word for now, augmented alien from the caste structure. i let u guys run with that. now look past the first and look at the second. if look at it's legs just above the first thing's body you will see it's thigh is very close to parallel (however you spell it) with the ground. this, if your familiar with body positions, suggests that this thins is in a type of kneeling position which means that it is taller than seen in the doc.. also if you look at the foot on what would be this "thing"'s left, it is slightly behind the body which is also related to a kneeling position. another thing is that the shadow, while not entirely visible, is very tightly bunched which shows that more mass is blocking the light which if i might say again related to kneeling positionafter further "analysis" of the second creature, which to save time typing, is now named charlie-2. charlie-2 has the build of a brute and after closer is in fact a brute. i can tell b/c the hands have the exact and i mean exact look of the brutes in halo 2. sry about my earlier posts but i had to confirm what i sawin my opion i say its a new type of human pilot marines don't were those kind of eye protection unless it's a full face cover. of course this is based halo 2 marines and that bungie is still following that concept why would the guy sitting in the chair who is designing or adding more details to the marine, have a screen with several pilot helmets. i know there pilot helmets b/c my dad still has his from when he was jumpmaster in the marine corps
these quotes are my entire posts on this docu.

In the link "Link by PieFresh_" if you look at the picture on the top right, look at the middle figure. Look at the hand that is holding the gun, only two fingers, 'tis a new type of elite. Atleast it looks that-a-way, I might be wrong, it's kinda funny, the moderators know what they are and they are prolly lauging at us.

I also see two fingers. His two thumbs must be wrapped around the gun. Since whenever I carry the flag in MP, I get a good look at the elite hand, I should say that fellow is an elite.

EDIT: WTF do those sticky notes say!? Its bothering me.

The neck is too short to be an Elite. The posture and build of the creature are very Brutish or Gruntish, depending on the scale.

You're not even speaking correct english and you expect anyone to take you seriously while making fun of someone else?

What's not correct about it? Some wrong spelling maybe? You understand it, don't you? So why this lame stuff about ''FAIL''? What about you? Looks like a Brute? Dude, look at the height of the fellow, and the arms and the legs. Now compare it with a Brute.

YOU FAIL SETSU

I think its a brute, although the helmet seems a lil odd shaped the arms and body suggest brute. Also the pistol has a blade attached to the end of it under the barrel. Is it a brute version of the pistol, like the brute shot?

IT'S A BRUTE.

-Brown arms. (not an elite, even the elites with space jetpacks wear armour)
-The brown is too brown for an Elites skin. (Around 8/10 grey, 2/10 blue)
-The muscles on the arm bulge like Brutes, not Elites.
-Helmets are more likly to be worn by Brutes (monkeys) than Elites.
-The brown fur goes all the way to the helmet and to the bottom of LCD.
-Jetpacks have a silver look, unlike Elites equipment which is all blue/purple.
-The weapon looks like a Bruteshot / pistol hybrid.
-The blade at the bottom of the weapon is exactly like the bruteshot blade.
-The Brutes are crouching like Brutes when they shoot.

I saw this idea in another thread, and I thought I would bring it over here. Someone else mentioned that he thought it looked like a prophet, not one of the hierarchs but a prophet warrior. I agree with this idea, as there has to be some prophet warriors, or how else would the prophets of had a war with the elites? Also if you look at its mouth it has prophet like teeth and I am also pretty sure that it has a little goatee, like prophets do. It also has similar skin colour and tone as the prophets in halo 2. It is not a brute as it is not hairy, if you hadn't noticed brutes are hairy... very hairy. It is not an elite as it doesn't have an elite mouth, and it is definitely not a grunt, since when were grunts that big?

it looks a little like a brute and from an angle it looks sort of as tall as a grunt. Jeez i have no clue as to what the heck that thing is but what ever it is i hope halo 3 will have big enough guns to take those things down and out for the count

He does have a good point. It is too bad a lot of people on here don't really examine it thouroghly though

Compare these pics to what we see in the doc...

If you want to comare sizes, go here and do so. See how much different they are.
http://nikon.bungie.org/misc/sloftus_characterscale/

I don't think it is a Brute or a Grunt. It has the body type of a Brute, but it looks too short and has no hair. We also have to remember it is on a 360 and a new engine. It could very well be a Grunt, I mean look at how much looks changed going from Halo: CE to Halo 2. Nonetheless, I think we have a yet to be seen character here. The prophet warrior idea is good. I am leaning towards and hoping for Forerunner though.

OK, yes, it is very true that I'm a dumb ass. I'm not denying that. However, isn't the whole point of a beta to increase the amount of users until you get someone dumb enough to try something you haven't anticipated.

I don't think it's forerunner as they probably wouldn't have shown it in the documentry, I mean they would want to give away what the forerunner look like already, I reckon we will have to play halo 3 to find that out, if we ever do.
