Subject: Revival of Wish Lists and Speculations About Destiny

Ladies (maybe) and gents of Bungie.net, today I gather you here in this thread not to argue over Bungie's decisions, trustworthiness, credibility or whatever else is controversial. I bring you here to discuss hopes and dreams, ideas and beliefs, or wants and wishes of this crazy little thing called "Destiny". What is it that you, personally, consider to be a beneficial addition to this game? What do you crave the employees at Bungie to implement into their next title?

In order to bring everyone back up to speed with this installment I've composed a list of sources that may provide helpful information.

Lots of Speculation

Yes, I do very much so understand that Destiny is fairly deep in development. We know this game about as much as we understand the reasons behind the webmaster's appearance. There are pros and cons to this situation though. No, we don't have much of a basis for wish lists and speculation; let your imagination run wild. Yes, we can still have impact upon the game's final product; but to a limited extent due to lack of knowledge.

Ok guys, you do the rest. It'd be very helpful if you guys could tell me if I missed any information on Destiny so that I may post it up (you get the credit). Please remain constructive and please provide legitimate suggestions. Thanks

Actually it's probably been worked on since ~2007.

I hope there will be something like the warthog. It's one of the biggest reasons I fell in love with Halo.

I presume it will be a shooter, and if it is, I hope there is going to be a lot of diversity in the gameplay. I've always liked that you can hop in and out of vehicles, and it would be cool to see something like that taken a step further.

Et Eärello Endorenna utúlien.
Sinome maruvan ar Hildinyar.
tenn' Ambar-metta!

Aye aye, the vehicle Warthog was one of the best vehicles on Halo, I hope Bungie can gives again a replica or a vehicle similar to the Warthog.

Sorry, I've been away for a full day now and need to address a few replies. I hope this isn't considered a bump; sorry if it is.

No Bungie fan 117, a great game is what we should hope for. Thanks for the link CrazzySnipe, I'll update the post as well as differ that "early dev" statement. Also, a symbolic vehicles/character (like the warthog and grunt) definitely played a role in my attachment to the Halos. There was talk of "road objects" in Grognok, so there is a chance that Bungie will create a vehicle that lives up to the warthog.

Yeah, maybe something along the lines of guilds/corps being small groups and alliances/factions being large clusters of guilds.

Only if it somehow automatically disallows those under the age of 16 from creating a clan.

Good point. There may be a type of requirement that takes in game money and resources from the player to start a clan, but that probably wouldn't prevent those under 16 from forming one. Hmmmm...

I suppose that telling of my one of my own hopes would be fine:

A completely player run market is among my wishes for Destiny. This system in Eve Online functions well and keeps the game in motion. This would only be possible if there is a sturdy trade system in the first place, of course. I've never tried a shooter MMO before and do not know if these types of games can withhold a satisfying market, but it seems much more difficult. Then again, if any company could pull it off, it'd be Bungie.
