Nice montage. How much did the capture card cost? It's pretty nice quality.

The M16 bit in the middle didn't seem that out-of-place when i was editing it.

It was £150 :/ but my student loan had just come in and i was feeling frivolous. Also, what with bungie stopping updating, I needed something to hold onto memories with. My videos basically became my game history haha.

The card itself is the Blackmagic Intensity Pro. The quality gets degraded horribly by rendering, and then by youtube's processing. The original files are much nicer, but also huge.

So in the US it'll be around $225 or so. That's actually not too bad for a good capture card. I might look into picking one up sometime soon, thanks for the info.

ha he's really good with the sniper, idk how he did half the snipes he did, a lot of which i've never done in my 14,000 plus matchmaking games. but yeah he did the "editing" himself, and it was hist first montage like the OP, that's why i posted it[/quote]This montage makes me want to get a capture card. I've only hit about 5 clips so far this year, but I got dozens from 2008-2010 which are at that level.

yeah, the guy in the tage gaped posted is just flat out incredible with the snipes. rather humbling to watch.

about your clips, i say go for it bro. get a capture card and make a montage. totally worth it in my opinion. it was alot more work then i expected though..

yeah totally worth it like shinobi zeeb said. I liked his montage and it was a good first montage. I feel like you will probably make more changes if you make another like maybe more editing as you get familiar with it. But def a good start
i'm torn between mic and capture card. i'm gonna think over which i want (leaning towards capture card) for a week. I've had to set most of my money aside for a car which is why I can't get both.

Aren't the terrible Xbox mics like $10? They break easily, but hey, $10....
