"I may not be perfect, but always been true."

Maybe.

"You get what you put into it."

When Legendary is too mainstream, you have Heroic. When you're the leader of the church of MLGeezus, have Epic in your username, and can't write 'About Me's' to save your life, what do you get?

This guy. And now, an side note: Most things I post contain lethal doses of sarcasm, so be warned, and try not to take me seriously.

Finally, a message to Bungie trolls everywhere.

Don't know, but from all the Halo games I've played, it seems automatic. I'm probably wrong, though.

"Don't mistake your rank and number for superiority.
The oldest child may learn from the youngest."

From what little evidence there seems to be, my guess would be a semi-automatic transmission.

Unless Kat is just hitting an e-brake here, my guess is she's downshifting.

Hanger one I just shredded with the SMGs until ammo was out and I just threw 'nades like a boss while BRing.

My experience playing Cairo Station on Legendary

You'd think that driving stick would take attention away from, you know, driving?

  • 05.23.2012 7:55 PM PDT

I have been driving a stick for 3 years now, it becomes so natural that you don't even have to think about shifting you just do it. Anyway a manual transmission gives the driver much more control over the power output of the vehicle, it would make sense to have it be a stick.

According to the Forza 4 Autovista:

'The base model comes with manual gearshift control and a steering linked E-brake.'

KOTOR

I thought military cars were generally stick because they were more reliable. It seems the futuristic warthog would go by the same line of thinking

"I can only drive stick shift, not an automatic"

It's probably stick shift and automatic for "special" people.

Can you not drive an automatic? Its so easy. You chuck it in drive and you're done. Simple.

I can drive automatic. I was quoting someone.

The world is full of mysteries, and shares too few of the answers required. An example of which, is how did I end up in the Brute Zone?

After watching that cutscene I want to replay Reach.

I always thought it was, but then again isn't most military ground vehicles stick shift?

  • 05.24.2012 9:25 AM PDT

Just a thought but I won't think the Warthog would need gearing as it's a hydrogen powered vehicle so wouldn't it run on motors not an engine. If it were to have gears on the motor it would probably be automatic.

Believe. Bungie.

What is all this stuff about Reach not being canon. I remember Bungie saying something about Reach being part of the canon. Especially since Halsey's journal explains so much with such epicness. So in my mind reach is canon and the warthog is stick shift. Someone please tell me if im wrong i totally thought reach was canon and preety sure Bungie said it was.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.
/slow clap for respect

:)
The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

I'm pretty sure it is.

心の中に弱い風が吹いています。

I'd gamble on it being manual. It would make sense since the driver of the Warthog in Halo 3 and Reach has one hand on the wheel; and another on what I imagine to be the gear shift.

Well, it is one of the better cutscenes :).

I'd wager that middle thing isn't a gear shift, since it doesn't really do much besides being pulled up/pressed down. But warthogs are most likely stick shift/manual.

You control it with your analog stick, so yes ;)
