If you pause the Making of the Trailer at 1:43 and look at the very left words, you can see one of the codes is "_sign_flood". I can't see what it says before sign.

If someone can find a pic of that spot without all the codes all over, there may be some flood texture or something.

And yes. I understand how pathetic that is, but nobody reads these things anyway... right?

Interesting, it does. it says (something)id_sign_flood. This could be a possible indicator that there are flood on earth? Also, I found this at 1:45 in the trailer. I have a screenshot if it is deemed necesary.

Well, the only place left for the Flood to invade is Earth. So I wouldn't be surprised.

hi guys,

well spotted.

I am not saying this is true, but it seems they are naming conventions for particle systems and or textures/lighting effects/models in those scenes.

that still doesn't mean that its not important what you found though.

I got the sense that it was naming movable objects, maybe along with paths or distances or something.

(I added the screenshot too.)

Meh, its probably in reference to some visual. Like said above, that doesnt mean it isnt anything; however i doubt it is.

It might be stating how it interacts with light or something.
You know, like because of its position it is flooded with light when something happens.
Might be wrong though.

i know how most codes work for when placing them as the id for an object within a videogame, so good find, because this has something to do with flood yes, But, it could just be part of a flood's corpse or something splattered on a ship or a rock, hence the sign part of the id, just a sign of one, not nessecarilly one though. In the film, the id stays still while the flyin ships and things fly overhead, and normally the flood is moving, unless in that quick bit of the game before being finished shown, they were not given animation yet, otherwise just a sign sort of thing.
