Cool, my own little box!

Well in the documentary I think I saw mount kilimanjaro in one of the "special" angle shots around 2:12-2:13. Now with that in mind, we could probably find the (approximate) location of the trailer! Maybe even what the name of the broken road that the chief stands next to in the trailer.I can't get a screenshot (I dled the wmv version) so if someone could get a screenshot plz do so.

Oops, apologizes for repostong about it again, but at least we have a more accurate idea of where it is at, and a more clear pic of how mt kilimanjaro looks in Halo 3/Xbox 360!
PS: I found a more clear view of it at 2:44 of the documentary

It's been found before. I can't remember who found it, or where the thread is, but I know it has.

It has definitely been found. Go through the posts. There is one that has a link to google Earth I think. There is a topographical map of the area.

The early bird gets the worm, but it's the second mouse that gets the cheese!

they are right, the kid who found it even got the name of the town. wich happens to match one of the songs on the Halo 2 soundtrack wich is "road to ......."
