"To me, a nice triple kill with the sniper is infinitely more impressive than any Living Dead Killionaire"

Does flaming people on forums count as an esport?

I'm a commendation/achievement/statistics freak.

Why is it that rockets are generally accepted montage material? I understand that the Sniper and DMR are skillful weapons that encourage skillful gameplay and can provide entertaining gameplay (OutDMRs, noscopes, quickscopes, etc) but why rockets? It's practically 4 free kills. Why is it that rockets are generally montage worthy, but grenades are frowned upon by audiences? They're more skillful in so many ways. Ricochets, long distance sticks, and interesting angles all make grenades more interesting than rockets. Rockets are often just a filler kill to get your 3.9 second Killtac so you can reload the sniper and hit the killtrocity.

So why, montage-community, are rockets considered legit and grenades less so?

[UNINTELLIGIBLE > INSUBORDINATION(?)]

If the player does some crazy feat, I don't really care what weapon they use. I don't look for "skill" unless that is the theme of the montage.

If I shoot the ground with rockets as a passenger on a vehicle the vehicle will go hurtling forward and I will get credit for any splatters it accumulates granted that I betrayed my driver.

Rockets can be montage worthy, it just depends on the context.

The higher frequency of grenade use makes what seems like epic kills a common thing so I think it should be equally unwelcome in montages.
