Tin shacks and catfish bones.

Secular Sevens ... you're doing it wrong.

I see no reason the rule should be changed. I can't really every see any scenario where one could have a real civilized debate. This is game company website where we all discuss our love of Bungie and their games. Or this forum where we discuss the collective group of people who like to discuss Bungie and their games.

After looking through the groups you're in. I can see why you think that. I think you'd change your mind if you actually joined a group that was meant for political/religious discussion.

This is very interesting. There are currently multiple groups that are created with the sole purpose to discuss things of this nature.

I see no reason why, as long as it is kept in the group, that this should be against the rules.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

Thanks for the clarification.

I think it is talking about the descriptions/mottos of the groups.

Even so, it's not like anyone cares or is complaining about these private groups that violate the code of conduct, so why bring it up?
According to the current Code of Conduct:

1) They are clearly not permitted; and
2) Discourage new users from making groups to discuss politics and religion.

I'm looking to check whether this is an error and if it isn't, how it affects or will affect current groups engaging in such discussion.
It's not like it really matters. People make private groups to talk about stuff that doesn't belong in the public forums.

Umm, if that was the case Daza would have just made the thread in HFCS.....you know, where most of the webteam are.

I've always wondered if Ninja's post site improvement ideas in HFCS before posting them in the public forums?

  • 05.25.2012 3:15 PM PDT

We don't know how often employees go to HFCS, if he thought it was that important he could have just PMd one. It's something that he (probably) found interesting and posted it.

He probably wanted the communities opinion on whether the CoC should be changed or not to.

“Strange,” mused the Director, as they turned away, “strange to think that even in Our Ford’s day most games were played without more apparatus than a ball or two and a few sticks and perhaps a bit of netting. imagine the folly of allowing people to play elaborate games which do nothing whatever to increase consumption.”
