Or for anyone who was able to play Halo 2 for that matter. Someone please tell me this...
On the battle rifle, I know that it is single shot when zoomed in, and if you pull the trigger zoomed out, it fires three round bursts, but someone please tell me... if you hold down the trigger, will the BR fire fully automatic like the AR, or will it just keep firing continuous three round bursts? Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer guys...

And if anyone can remember... how many rounds does the BR hold in a single clip? Thanks again.

I'm pretty sure it would just fire 3 shots at a time. Unzoomed that is.

Makes sense. I mean, why would you need the BR to fire automatic when you can dual weild SMGs. I thought that was the point of the SMGs.

I think the BR holds 32 or 36 rounds in the clip. I just counted from the Mutiplayer Footage.

i played at fanfest and yes zoomed in is single shot. a quick tap of rt trigger s a 3 burst shot and if you hold the trigger it is fully automatic but with sick recoil. read my posts.

Excellent, that is what i wanted. The recoil I can defenitely live with, but the fact that it is fully automatic will add a whole new level of "Belief" if you will to the battle rifle. We're not always going to be carrying the SMG's with the BR, and in the original Halo, having the AR and firing away down a hallway, and seeing yourself in you co-op partner's screen approaching you.... that gun just made you feel like a badass.

Also, does anyone know how many rounds the SMG's hold?
