The only playlist that has had it removed (and rightfully so) was Infection. Other than that, there are several tactics which have this element as the core of it - say for example sticking an ally with a plasma grenade and getting him to kill all enemy players within the radius of the blast while he comes out alive brushing off a little dust on his armour.
It's not a solution for betrayals; focus on a system which can effectively remove betrayers (which is almost impossible) without the need of changing something so drastic. A system I thought about was one which adds up betrayals over the amount of games a player has. The higher the ratio, the more of a chance the boot screen will come up for the player that they betrayed.
