I have just noticed that the human shaped (the ones that used to be humans) combat form flood are far more powerful the the elite ones which gives reason to believe that the humans were created by the forerunners to become the flood. After all, keys became that big mushroom thingy in h1 and not some high ranking cove so...

Also the human race does seem to b pretty efficient at destroying things so maybe the forerunners made the humans as a weapon of mass destruction but then improved the weapon by inputting the flood.

They are all just a wimpy as each other.

The problem is that you have to have a shotgun and a plasma gun because they come at you together(mixed covenant and humans)

I noticed how one shotgun shot and the human floods fall usually but the Covenant Flood tkae 2-3 shotguns and only 1-2 plasma rifle shots.

It is the same as how the Covs get mowed down by dual plasma guns on the first board.

For some strange reason, I like the way that this theory sounds...if you can, expand more on this theory. Would be an awesome plot twist.

Actually if you look at the Keyes blob closely you see one pair of Human legs and one pair of Elite legs. The Human race in the Halo series are not good at fighting at all. They only won a couple of victories against the Covenant.

They dont always win on the ground, they fight almost as well as the Covenant on the ground.

Wonder why cortana said "we're all equally edible" in halo 1 when the flood doesn't actually eat their hosts.

actaually in the books it says that the humans pwn the covies until they retreat to space and glass them, in space it has to be 3 to 1 for humans to win, but the effectiveness stated about the humans on the ground might have came before the elites actually got into the book...

Does it really matter? One grenade and they all die.

that quote is also from a perspective in the year 2535 i believe, and according to the books, master chief never even saw an elite until three days before the first halo game, so chances are humans were winning back when only grunts were around.
