Ok, first of all the Arbiter is not going to die at the begining of Halo 3 that would be the dumbest begining to a game ever just having an important character dying right in the beginning of the game. Don't even bother posting if you're going to say Jack Bauer will kill him, he will explode or he will die at the beginning I mean how imature and idiotic can you blams!- get!

He pissed me off...any questions?

Seriously though, if I was the Arbiter I'd steer clear of the Master Chief.
Why? This is why:

Chief: "So Arbiter, what did you do before you became the Arbiter?"
Arbiter: "I was a commander of ships and leader of troops."
Chief: "Ever hear of a place called Reach?"
Arbiter: "Yes. The heart of your military forces."
Chief: "Do you know who the Supreme Ship Master was?"
Arbiter: "Of course, it was I. We lost many warriors to the other Humans like you." The Arbiter paused realizing what he just said, but it was to late.
Chief: "Really?" The Chief quizzed as he un-holstered his pistol, leveled it at the Arbiter's face and fired two rounds in rapid succession at point blank range. The Arbiter's purple blood and brain matter splattered on the far wall.
Chief: "You may have lost a few warriors, but I lost my family."

This is probably what happened to the Mighty Arbiter.

Man, the Chief and Arbiter didn't seem to be that bad of enimies when they were together with gravemind. Wouldn't it be cool if the two biggest rivals in Halo joined forces and became like brothers (thats what gravemind was trying to say, "fait had us meet as fools, but this ring will make us brothers)

True, but that's because the Chief and the Arbiter had a common goal, sort of.
What would you do if you found out that the guy across from you was responsible for your family's murder?

That's probably going to happen. Two highly skilled warriors joining forces.
The Chief and the Arbiter are probably the ONLY two that can forge an alliance between the Humans and the FORMER Covenant. That would be cool.

Before he was decived by the prophets and the great journey. He then reilized the truth when he was confronted by gravemind. The Arbiter realized the real truth and there's nothing wrong w/ that.

Never mind my argument. That would be like the Covenant holding the Chief responsible for what he did. Never mind....they were both just doing their duty.

I had some time to think about this.

Hopefully Halo 3 will shed some light on the subject.

Kelly's off running around with Doctor Halsey. As for the three other Spartans...who knows?
