The two aren't mutually exclusive.

If Halo 4 turns out to be good, I'll follow both.

READ IT.

I won the Star. With this on Week 18.

Bungie mainly... Halo 4 doesn't seem that interesting...

There's a word for what I am, but I can't pronounce it.

BFA, CCS - olde and bony & one minute musings.

I follow them both on Twitter. Does that count?

"Dear Bungie.net, we regret being stubborn bastards, we regret coming to this forum, and we most definitely regret that Darth Kooky blew up our raggedy-ass opinion!"

You pose an unfair question and have submitted a biased opinion.

1. Seeing as we have so very little knowledge of "Destiny", judging it before it is properly revealed in any way is unjust.

2. Blindly following 343 just because they will continue to make Halo games is a fool's game.

3. You need to take both subjects into account before making final decisions and condemnations.

As an example, I will give you my opinion.

I shall follow both. Bungie introduced me to a wonderful universe I know and love, the Halo universe. 343 shall continue the story and I shall keep myself engrossed in it. However, I shall also follow Bungie. I have thoroughly enjoyed every Halo title they have made and I look forward to something fresh and new from them. This is Bungie we're talking about so quality is guaranteed.

I can enjoy more than just one thing. For example, I like the TV shows Chuck, Castle, The Big Bang Theory, Firefly, and A Game of Thrones. I am engrossed in them all. I like more than just one show! It's called variety.

Another fine example: I enjoyed the Harry Potter series and the Inheritance Cycle. I also enjoy Halo novels, Star Wars novels, and could read the Redwall series over and over until the day I die.

Variety is the spice of life and choosing one thing over the other just because I have experience in the one I have enjoyed for 10 years, does not mean I should just condemn something new. Without innovation and change, the world would become drab and boring. It would be like living in a colourless world with set routines that do not allow deviations. That is truly a terrible world indeed and I will have no part in it.

You need to accept change.

TL;DR

You know nothing about Destiny and therefore have no grounds to condemn it to sucking. Halo is not everything. People can also choose to enjoy both Halo and Bungie at the same time.

~:O>~~

I stick with quality... and from what I can tell, either game (destiny and Halo 4) will meet industry standards if not exceed them. And on the side note: those calling 'Halo 4' Trash needs to reavaluate what they consider to be a valid concern in this day and age, just saying.

But if HAD to choose one or the other with no exception... I would go with Bungie. Getting thrown into an 'arena' with a handful of other players with the only objective is to 'kill' is getting old. In my opinion.

Don't judge a book by its cover, unless it has bacon on the cover, then it is a good book.

I understand nothing because my life is a conspiracy.

Well, if you mean by terms of loyalty, then Bungie, but I still have an interest in Halo (even thought it is going mainstream).

I'm 23, I have a house, dog, girlfriend, job and I have no interest in any fanboyism so if you're thinking about sending me a childish PM, don't be surprised when I don't call back.

It's not like I swore an oath, I will be interested to see what both companies come up with.

I'm very interested in Halo 4, and will be getting it on day one purely for the story. I'm still looking into the multiplayer but so far it sounds and looks rather good.

As for Bungie? I'll certainly be keeping a close eye on the Destiny project, and will hold my opinion until I see some more about the game(s) to come. At the moment I have nothing to go on, so I'll keep to the shadows for now.

I suppose I'll remain interested in both. I won't be bound by one allegiance.
