I came for Halo, but I heard the Tru7h, fought thru Carnage, and stayed for Bungie.

No one cares how much you know, until they know how much you care.--Teddy Roosevelt

I've become recently inspired to attempt to write my own amateur TV script for a show about Andrew Jackson's life while he was the POTUS. I am halfway done reading American Lion, and I must have exclaimed at least a dozen times so far, "Why the hell hasn't HBO made this into a show yet!? WHAT A BADASS!" Seriously, it could very well be better than Boardwalk Empire.

Does Dave (or anyone else for that matter) have any tips for writing a historical drama?

I am also studying English at school. But creative writing really isn't my thing. I'm more of a technical guy.

You enjoy making instruction manuals?

Anyways, if I sent Bungie a rough draft of a story that I'm writing, what would happen?

Mean lawyers would prevent our writers from reading it.

I've never made an instruction manual. I could, though. I like writing research papers and reports.

This site is what I use to keep my mind sharp. If you want to see my writing, just look through some of the threads I've made.

Well that was longer than usual, though I guess that's because you usually interview engineers instead of writers.

Nice read all the same.

A writer working on a story could get into copyright trouble if he read a fan's work, and it ends up being similar to what he's writing.

Unafraid to proclaim

Impressive.

Probably my favorite interview so far. Gives me inspiration for my sometimes ridiculous writing.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

What if the guy wrote that he gives Bungie all rights to use his work or ideas for free?

The Internet is an empowerment tool that's agnostic; it doesn't care about race, gender, or age.

I'm a stubborn guy. I love to argue my opinion, but unlike others, I'll try to see your side of the problem. I'm a triathlete, with a very heavy empephis on the swimming bit. Also, don't hate on the ~Quinton~ at the end of my posts. Why are you still reading this? #creeper #hashtagcashmoney for hashtaging on Bungie.net

That makes sense I guess. Oh well, probably for the best. I enjoyed Daves punny-ness about the grilling over lunch bit.

I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?
