From Planetside.... to be able to fly/use the dropships.... so in Multi...you can fly in a Pelican and do a classic Air Assault with MC's performing a tactical drop in the middle of a combat zone.

Marathon - Dual shotguns. I still think that the start of If I Had A Rocket Launcher I'd Make Somebody Pay is one of the most amazing moments in gaming history for the sheer amount of non-stop carnage and the endless supply of shotgun cartridges. :)

I would take the chicken ray thing from Ratchet and Clank. If someone gets close. You just blast them with it...And they are suddenly helpless. haha.

It would have to be the ability to throw little men (vocabulary?) aroud like in one of the Harry Potter games. It would be awesome to have a "throw the grunt as far as you can"- contest in a Halo(2) training level :-p . And just imagine a jackal-frisbee-ing contest :-). Fun, fun, fun!!! :-)
I think it would also be fun to have cone challenges (from PGR) with the warthog/ ghost in Halo(2).

I would like to see powerups "unreal" style. collect adrenaline for kills and by punching in a code you replenish your health or get double damage or something like that.

You know what I'd put in the game? I'd take something from the single player campaign of every other bloody game on the planet called a 'save game feature', in which you presss a magical button and a tiny little file is created that lets you go back to that same spot if you die, rather than trudging about through some God-forsaken hellscape with one bar of health and three rounds in your plasma pistol and no shields looking for that specific formation of rocks that has a checkpoint locked inside of it. Yeah, that'd be kinda cool, methinks. Just a bit.

id make multi-team ctf from unreal tournament.

1.one team would be humans. they could consist of spartans, OSTDs, marines, Pelican pilots, ect

2. another team would be covenant. elites, brutes, perhaps the mystery character, ect

3. another team would be the flood. only combat forms. (duh)

4. another team would be forerunners and forerunner type (walking) robots. we dont want sentinals driving a warthog.

there is most likley something that i left out, but ahh what the hell. oh, and as long as we are dreaming here, id like a pony.

What i would really like to have is the magic of being able to control the marines so that they won`t run right into the nearest possible death.

Maybe demo charges from Ghost Recon. Someone could sneak in, plant a few, get out and when the assault begins, set them off.

Maybe a MP game like Unreal 2004 has where you fight for domination of different "bases" until you work your way to destroying the power node at your opponent's main base. I think this is called "Onslaught".

STATS! The one's that are as detailed as Perfect Dark or Timesplitters 2. I love the stats from those games, and to have those on Live? I think I'd die. Also, a better ranking system for individuals and clans, than say, Pandora Tomorrow. Because the ranking in that game pisses me off, it makes NO sense. Here's hoping.

Here are some things that should be brought into Halo 2

1.Remote mines like on Perfect Dark or Golden Eye. (But not the timed or proximity mines cos they require no skill or memory). Imagine sealing your base off with some carefully consealed remote mines. The satisfaction of pulling the trigger knowing that the last thing your enemy saw before dying was a little present that you left behind. That was one of the best things to come from Golden Eye. (Used In Multiplayer)

2.Voice (or controller) control (like on Rainbow Six 3) of your marines during play so they don't mindlessly run into danger. This would then make better use of them unlike before where you just sat them on the side of a Scorpion Tank to look pretty. (Used In Campaign)

3.A one off level in the game where you have control of a fighter plane (like in Star Wars Rogue Squadron) where you can fly around and blow the hell outta some covenant vehicles and aliens! (Used In Campaign)

4.The covenant have a handheld energy sword, so why don't we give the humans a handheld weapon. Either something basic like a sword or something crazy like a chainsaw. Whatever is used it would turn out with some great fun, and a whole load of guts. (Both Campaign and Multiplayer)

5.Better interaction with your marines (like on Rainbow Six 3) where you can tell them to quite complex strategies on storming a room. Of course not too much like Rainbow Six 3 where your team mates stay with you all the time.Just for certain parts where they help you out like on Halo, but just with better control.

6.Some ultimate gore from the Elites or Brutes where they can perform one simple move where you get your head ripped off or your neck bitten into.I always thought the slashing of an energy sword was a little subtle and disappointing. The Elites are meant to be very aggressive so why don't we give them a move where the victim gets totally mutalated. It would be totally gutting but impressive if it happened to you, and complete satisfaction for the person carrying it out.

Ragdoll physics from Metroid Prime. Seeing a guy die, fall on a ramp, slide down to the end, then sliding off the catwalk and landing on the ground in a crumpled heap kicks major arse.
