I just got my headset, (AddioFX by eDimensional). I want to get it set up for the Maw gathering.
I assume that I turn on Teamspeex first and then start Halo, correct?
I notice that in the Teamspeex window it seems like you can choose between the The whole MAW or just BLUE or RED. If I start Teamspeex before I start Halo, how do I know which team to choose?
As far as I know, I can't change settings in other programs while Halo is running in full screen mode. As I recall, when I tried playing it in a window, I couldn't click outside the Halo window, so it seemed useless. Any Macusers know how to get this working?
The headset has a mic plug, a speaker plug and a USB connection. My computer has a headphone jack on the front, but no mic jack. I also have a USB port on the front of the computer. If I plug in the headset and the USB, I can hear the sound, but there is a lot of static. If I plug in just the headset, I get good sound. I'll have to get under the desk and plug in the mic.
USB alone does not seem to do anything. It would be nice to get it working via USB– just plug it in the front and be done.
Here are the Sound In and Sound Out preferences. Line Out and Digital Out seem to work about the same. The Soundflower settings don't work. Any advice on setting these up?
