People being upset about administrators on a website looking at messages on a website when you're not guaranteed ultimate privacy in the message-sending-system need to learn how to read a CoC and forum rules.

You have no rights.

  • 06.02.2012 11:41 AM PDT

Who the hell do you think I am?

If you send the wrong thing to the wrong person, then yeah, probably.

  • 06.02.2012 11:42 AM PDT

Indie video game designer and relatively good photoshopper.

Two wrongs do not make a right, however three wrongs do make a
delicious bedtime snack if served with warm milk.

Depends on who you message, content of said message, if the recipient has banning abilities, and the thickness of the recipients skin.

Like if someone called me a name, I'd quietly weep in the corner.
If you called a mod the same name, you'd get a good 'ol fashioned ass kicking.

You Bungie stans never fail to crack me up.

They should make you a moderator!

Is that what you want to hear? lol

"You have no rights" isn't a rule. If that's the blanket statement the moderation staff want to put every unwritten rule under, then why not just put every rule under that statement? Saves time.

  • 06.02.2012 11:11 PM PDT

I sure hope not, or else Foman might be giving me a slap of the ol' banhammer in a sec.

  • 06.02.2012 11:19 PM PDT

Swag punks, fuck off!

Absalutely.

Yes it is. Have you read the rules? I have. It's rule number 2.

Of course. Nowhere is safe.

This post and your avatar scare the living -blam!- out of me.
The scariest thing on this site was when Achronos waltzed into private groups and private messages to ban entire subcommunities. It was like walking through walls.
Relevant.

God I laughed when this happened.

Its even better when Achronos posts on thr front page of your group threatening to end your existence and the existence of all your members.
Some must have had the lamb's blood on the door that night.

Why would you get banned simply for offending someone over PM from the public forums? I can understand being banned for threats, or by request, or something like that.

smart, interesting, seems out of place.

Official fan of Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, (Problem with that?) Halo, and Bungie, also a total gaming junkie.

If you start sending MMJ style messages, yes. You can and probably will be banned.

If you have some free time and don't mind, please check out my Youtube channel, and maybe subscribe? I'd appreciate it.

Dude we get it. You want to be a moderator really bad. No one is going to commend you for being a forum policeman. Seriously, get it together and straighten up your priorities.

"You have no rights" is nothing more than a blanket statement used to throw all of the unwritten rules under.

Get over it.
