I'm pretty sure they'll find something to do for Bungie Day, It'd be strange if they stayed dark for it. They'll probably have some sort of community event, at least.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

Hopefully they just pop their heads out from their hole for a minute or two, but I don't know.
I can't believe it has been a year almost since last Bungie Day.

Also I think that we may get a teaser of some sort for their next game. I remember ODST was supposed to be announced at e3 and then it got bumped and was announced on Bungie Day.
ODST and Reach were both announced at the same E3. Weren't they?
We're both wrong.

At E3 2009, an ODST Demo was shown and Halo Reach teaser was shown.

An ODST trailer was first announced as Halo 3: Recon in 2008 a year after the release of Halo 3.

Nevertheless, it's still possible they could show something. One reason they probably won't is because they won't reveal anything until Microsoft Announces their next console (most likely we may hear nothing until E3 2013!)

You imply a level of control over Halo: Reach matchmaking that we no longer have. Or, in your vernacular, it isn't our shiznit anymore.

I'm hoping for a teaser trailer, or at least something for the Community to over analyze.

Please stop complaining about the 'death of a loved one' it's my job. They probably deserved it anyways. Here's a warning, if you keep making pentagrams out of the neighbors livestock I will personally come to your house and kill everyone you love. Now leave me alone, I got to get back to work.

Hold on now... Fall 2013 is the release of their new game. (Assuming, what's in the contract is on schedule) Destiny #1 will first be released on the 360. New console.. maybe when it comes out. But until it does, it'd be a 360 title.

If we go by Halo: Reach's pattern, this E3 should be where they tease us with their new game. But, they said they won't be. So somewhere really close, like Bungie Day I think would be appropriate, for a TEASE, anyway.

That other guy

I don't expect any teasers, trailers, announcements or anything like that. What ever it is Bungie is working on, they are probably going to take their sweet time and make it perfect. And i'm ok with that. What i do expect from this years Bungie Day is some fun community action. I think they will probably just throw a big game party of sorts, on what game i dont have a clue. We are just gonna have to wait and see aren't we!

Bungie Day is still gonna be celebrated with a lot of cool -blam!-. It's not gonna be affected by the darkness.
