or the perforator, AKA super nailgun. that was cool. :) anyway. back to power-ups.

how about a power-up for your radar, make it so that they don't have to move for you to see them on it. again, only for about 10-15 seconds.

And a power up that could block enemy radar from seeing whoever possesses this power up. 20 seconds.

New Power Ups:

1. EMP: Radar invisiblity
2. Speed Burst (kinda like steriods in Duke)
3. Attack/Electricity Field... this ones all my own... surround MC's suit with an electric field for like 20 seconds... if anyone getes too close, they get electricuted and killed instantly.... plus it could send there bodies flying)
4. Increased strength... this power up would allow masterchief to duel wield rocker launcers and bust threw walls with melee.
5. Flame Up power up ... just like the torch from fantastic four, MC lights up for 20 seconds and anyone he comes into contact with his lite on fire... plus you could throw balls of fire, just like nades or shoot fire bullets with the AR or pistol only....
6. ICE power up.... pretty much same as above, except oppenents are frozen temporaily when they touch you or you hit them with ice nade/bullets.... you can then melee your oppenent and they shatter (yea, I know, its from duke nukem, but still man... that was good times)
7. Hover power up.... say goodbye to gravity... MC can over, get to hidden places, camping spots.... la de de\
8. Armour upgrade.... kinda of like a permanent overshield/invinciblity.
9. Transport power up.... allows the MC to transport anywhere on the map ( you become invisilbe and inharmible while you choose a spot to go to when you pick this up)
10. JetPack/Human robotic Assist Vechicle.... comes loaded with guns, give MC ability to fly, it could pull some transformer moves ( robot, then turns into a jet) this is more a vehicle actually...

HAHA max three power ups, like infared that looks through walls. We dont want powerups to be too much a factor in the game and bungie knows that too.

What MC needs is a chameleon power-up. When picked up it starts changing the color of the cheifs suit to blend in with the enviromen near to you. Note that it does not make you "see through " like active camo. The chameleon effect would be very effective in either close range combat when their is a lot of action or long range combat to make it harder to see you from a distance.

The radar one might be okay, but the other ones are horrible. For the EMP one, maybe when you run around, the lights surrounding you flicker or go out completely or something like that. That would be pretty sweet.


Well if its EMP all around you your suits sheilds would have to be gone. I wouldent care though. It would be great to hear "where the F*** did that guy come from?!?!"

That would be a good idea, like to balance things out, if you want speed, loose some weight, on the other hand, does your shield weight?

I was thinking the exact same idea when I clicked on this thread and when I was pissed yesterday cuz I was invisible but some kid saw me on his radar and I had to kill him before he killed me and it blew my cover before I got the flag on Headlong. I was thinking the exact same thing about their should be a pwerup wher you disappear from radar, but are still visible...and also it should prevent proximity speak...this way they can't hear you either. I don't thin they should call it EMP cuz an EMP would probably de-activate the HUD and the radar in general (see below for EMP) so they should call it a satellite disruption or sumthing like that...some thing w/ the word Disruption maybe Radar Disruption

Another, related idea. How bout an EMP that directly affects either the enemies whole teams radars, or everybody but yours...so not only can you not be seen on radar, but the enemies cant see your friends either!

I'm not too fond of the others.

Yeah it really sucks that your invicible and can´t move fast because of the motion sensor...That´s why the EMP should be included

As for the invincible one....that's a big 10-No...

Speed one sounds interesting enough...kind of like Juggernaut, but you're not juggernaut...ooooo spooky....

The double speed would be too unbalenced for multiplayer.

But I would like a "Signal Jammer/Switcher" that makes motion trackers local to you malfunction (have static or somthing), or makes you appear friendly to motion trackers.

And bringing back the full spectrum vision would be cool! But perhaps have it like thermal vision? but then again MC is in a suit so no heat...

I know. A powerup (in the form of a chip in a small ammo box similar in size to the oversheild box, and the chip is put in the suit), which hightlights electronic sources. If somthing is using an ACTIVE (as in switched on) electronic source, then in is highlighted by a red box on your hud or somthing (Maybe red for enemy person or vehicle, blue for neuteral (like a light fixture) and green for ally). Downside is it detects light sources so it can be a distraction. Just like active camo makes you more obvious in some situations, this has a downside too.

There shouldn't be any "Power Ups" in Halo 2 and none in Halo 3. All they do is give crappy players a chance to be good for a kill or two! No "Power Ups", No SWORD, and No PLASMA PISTOL!!!!!!!!!!! GET OUT NUBS!!!

Halo 2 was designed to me more friendly towards average gamers. You wanna be a pro? Go play counter strike or somthing. Quit complaining and telling other people to fix your problems and fix them yourself.

How would I go about fixing this problem myself? I do play Counter-Strike but why can't I want a better product in Halo 3?

What I really missed in Halo 2 was the powerups in the campaign. And I didn't really like the idea of skulls giving you certain abilities. I really enjoyed smacking numerous foes from behind with the invisibility!

Yeah why did they take out the power up from campaign?? I think the replaced them with the skulls on purpose
