I was thinking today, and i thought that the Mster Chief doesn't know about the human/elite alliance as he wasn't at the end when Tartarus was killed was he? And neither were Regrets forces that he left behind at the beginning of the game. So the MC dusnt know, Regrets forces don't know, so i'm guessing that playing as the Cheif you will be killing the whole Covenent, not just the Old Covies. That is unless the Arbiter, Johnson and Keyes can find a ship since In Amber Clad is crashed in High Charity thanks to the Flood.

Yes, you'll prolly get to kill some. I doubt it though, Bungie will find a clever way of changing that primary enemy to a Brute instead of an Elite.

Yeah I guess but then unless Bungie makes the Brutes weaker then Halo 3 will be VERY hard.

beserk brutes are stupid, you simply step to the side and whak them in the back
The chief already knows that the brutes and the elites are fighting one-another. It's only a matter of time before the alience gets to him. At least the first level will be an elite mass grave

i agree , brutes are a pain in the neck.i hope they will be weaker than normal

the MC on the first lvl may get an alliance from survivials .. MC will not shoot an elite that has no thoughts about killing him

OR

fight floods with a shootie

I hope we will still get to fight elites. They are the best enemies.

I have been thinking, even though the Elites, Hunters and Grunts that are already are on Earth may not know about the rebellion MC will be starting on the Forerunner ship. It should be jammed full with Honor Guard Brutes which were the strongest enemies in Halo 2.

"You ever wonder what's up there"
"Like what"
"Maybe someone up there was wondering what it's like here"
"I guess, do you think will ever meet them"
"I hope so, don't you...?"

- The proof there's intelligent life in the universe is the fact that they haven't visited Earth.

Join the Sangheili Empire, the last of the surviving Sangheili...

Maybe Bungie will release a whole new type of enimey.

You should of made up your own instrument. You could have named it the PolarLighting -a-phone. People would buy it and they would all be like "Awh, He's so cool for inventing the PolarLighting-a-phone."

Well, if there were any Elites on that ship that truth took out of High Charity then you can count on the fact that there will be a lot of fighting between the two species. I doubt that there will be any of the allies on that ship though if Truth did a half decent job before he left. There might also be flood forms on that ship. The chief obviously doesn't know about the alliance. He will get into a sticky situation and get saved by some Elite or the Arbiter with Johnson, which is sad, because Elites are my favorite enemies! Whn I kil them, I do it from the bottom of my cold heart!

Not to mention picking off helpless Grunts, and the fun fighting Hunters. If there are Flood on the ship then I would say to all those idiots that complain about the Arbiter because his missions are all about the Flood: In your face, [banned word that begins with "N"].

I put on pants for this?

it is most likely that chief will not fight elites on truth's ship because he either let the brutes kill them or he kicked them off before take-off. but there may be a chance once he gets on earth because the first invasion fleet will have had elite commanders unless mc hears of the allience with part of the covenant.
