Subject: Is the lack of activity in the community forum getting to you?

Questions lead to learning, learning leads to kowledge, knowledge leads to understanding, understanding leads to peace.

"I would kill to get a killionaire... 10 times... digitally."

I enjoy all of the forums here on b.net, but the community forum is by far the best in my opinion. Normally, it can be a bit slow during the week, but picks up during the weekend. It seems to have gone the other direction this weekend. People are barely creating threads here lately. Has this lack of activity been screwing with your mind like it has mine?

Right.

Anyway, nope, not really. It's the most active forum after the Flood probably.

What goes here??

Not really, I know activity will increase after the new Hawtness.

Of coure it will increase, but it still is annoying to come back a few days later and find a thread with only a few replies still on the frint page.

If I am not posting, then I am reading what you might have posted.

Not really, because I am inactive myself.

A little bit, I do miss how it was before they went dark, but I'm certainly looking forward to the major site update and the new things that will follow.

Everyone got it from 343 already.

But has anybody noticed that it is unusually slow this weekend, even considering that the new hawtness isn't here yet?

I'm a stubborn guy. I love to argue my opinion, but unlike others, I'll try to see your side of the problem. I'm a triathlete, with a very heavy empephis on the swimming bit. Also, don't hate on the ~Quinton~ at the end of my posts. Why are you still reading this? #creeper #hashtagcashmoney for hashtaging on Bungie.net

It has its pros and cons. A pro would be noticing specific users all of the time. Another pro being that the trolls stick out a lot more. The cons are a slow moving forum with a limited amount of quality threads.

It's true. But seriously, have you noticed it's slower than usual this weekend, even compared to the way it is slow normally.

This thread would have appealed to me more if it was written with crayons.

I broke one of the cords for my X11s because I couldn't get past the final American course in Doritos Crash Course.

I dont think its changed much in terms of activity (or anything else really), its always been fairly steadily paced compared to the other forums, which probably adds to its appeal for the people that frequent here.

It's alright. I tend to login at night now for the flood to see whats cookin over there.

The flood is always busy. Mankind could go extinct and the flood would still find a way to be busy. But the community forum has the most quality threads. Its just odd seeing an old thread that almost nobody commented in on the first page.

I sometimes lock myself in my room and cackle madly as I slowly draft up Destiny Discussion Threads with the intent of sparking conversation in the community beyond the usual "We need more Mods" or "Here is overdiscussed website idea #203".

I have noticed that I'm joining more groups to compensate for the lack of activity in the public forums.

This... actually seems plausible for someone like you.

I'm used to it by now, so it's normal for the slowness. Plus, the good thing is that new threads(legit ones) aren't buried under 20 other ones in a minute, and people here actually have the time to formulate a well thought out response.

There comes a time in every mans life... and that time is not now.

I can't handle it. I fear my mind is beginning to lose its grasp on reality.
