I only really post here once in a while, so not at all. Groups are more my thang.

  • 06.03.2012 6:17 AM PDT

Nope. It's always been like this anyway.

Chapter

Narwhallace Smithington: Gone, but not forgotten. Never approve of anything lil guy. <3
Furious George: The new -blam!-

There ain't no reason things are this way.
It's how they always been and they intend to stay.
I can't explain why we live this way.
We do it everyday.

Actually, I'm fine with it. There are other boards and private groups with activity and discussion to be had.

I understand nothing because my life is a conspiracy.

There aren't many interesting topics.

Roll the dice, try again.

Just get on bungie.net less?

I was already expecting a steady decrease of activity on all of the forums, so I'm not surprised or shocked by it.

The community forum sucks, any slowdown in it's activity should be viewed as a blessing.

The community forum is kind of slow lately.

If it is, you need to get off the computer and live a little more.

Member of six years and developer of many scripts for the site insults OP's personal life and the amount of time he spends on the computer. Nice.

Haha, I didn't think that would blow over the way it did. I was speaking generally and not directly to the OP (sorry if I offended you, OP). Regardless, it's about time spent somewhere versus the return value of that time. Not saying anyone here doesn't have a life, but if you're coming here enough to be getting bored or starting to worry about that kind of stuff, your returns are diminishing and you should just decrease your activity to match the returns you're getting.

Also, my scripts are dated and years old now, I have a full-time job as a software consultant, I'm getting married, and I only recently started coming here more than once every 3-5 months. Easy to judge someone by join date and reputation, but people change. Bungie.net was my "personal project" for my career aspirations for a while, now it isn't. That's really all that there is to the relationship between me and the site.

But I just think you can't sit there when you feel that way about something, that's all. Yes, getting off the computer isn't the only solution, it's just the one I entertain the most right now. In my heyday, when I found the forums lacking, I created my own source of activity. Or you can just go to a group, another forum, or another website. I just prefer to go do something else entirely.

CAV, everyone knows you're a basement dweller who infects every forum he goes to with a Coup. You are the Flood of the internet. A social virus. You don't need to create elaborate stories to cover that up or validate it.

Oh, I was going to create an elaborate story to validate it, but I guess I can't now. According to your rules, I can neither confirm nor deny your allegations.

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

We miss you Logan.
Ask any question. I'll help with anything on site or off.

No because I have other sites I can go to. I am really waiting for some updates.

It's cool, I wasn't really insulted. *turns away and sobs*. Plus, I did create my own activity. It's this thread. Kind of an oxymoron now that I think about it.

I've been away for a while and haven't been on in ages, I'll mostly stay in private groups though.

"10000?"

I drop in every few days to see what's happening. Site traffic will pick up once Bungie has announced their new game.

I cap fools.

I just realized, Bungie Day is just a little more than a month away! We might actually make it, sanity intact!

I have plenty of other sites that I visit and sub communities on here (ala private groups). While time passes there is always something to do while we wait.

Patience is a virtue.

I just realized that too. Now I'm pyched for that and E3. If B day doesn't bring more people in, I don't know what will.
