Subject: Predict Reach's Population When....

Halo Reach was the first Halo game where you could actually "feel" the game.

Yeah, it felt like -blam!-.

You knew when a grenade was thrown

Because they were constantly exploding around you.

it was the first time Halo MP was actually part of the new generation of gaming.

Unfortunately, this "new generation of gaming" is the casual gaming industry, where easy, mindless games such as CoD and Farmville prevail.

Even though it had its flaws, it introduced some good innovations into the franchise of Halo.

The only good innovations it added to Halo was a properly working netcode and the Grenade Launcher. Just about everything else was horrible.

So once again, predict Halo Reach's Population when Halo 4 comes out.

Hopefully it will finally, completely, die.

Probably a couple thousand, if that. Only people left playing will be those whos first Halo game was Reach and can't get H4 right away.

Country: United States.
State: Pennsylvania.
County: Warren.
I graduated from high school on June-11-2011. I'm 19 right now. I'm turning 20 in December. I like playing video games, and board games. I like reading Sci-Fi, and World War II novels, and what not.

"There is nothing better in the world than being better at a video game than someone else....oh wait"

I think the day Halo 4 comes out over 75% are going to leave. Then once most of the 25% lets say 20% get it. Reach is going to be completely dead. I say less than 10,000 are still going to play this game.

Actually, I think Halo 3 will have more players.
This is how I see things happening. I actualy prefer playing Reach over Halo 3.

And the only people who will play H4 longer than a week are those who have never played Halo before, as they won't notice how it's going to do a better job at killing the style of the series than Reach ever did.

Agreed. All the changes are good and add variety. Do we really want another Halo 3? Just running around with one gun and no armor abilities? It's good that 343 wants to try something new. Do we really want the same thing for three more games?

If it's bad online i might as well stick to CS:GO for better MP gameplay, if that game is out by that time for the 360.
Do yourself a favor, get it for the PC.

Reach's pop has drop lots over last few month, because people are finding CoD and Battlefield more fun and exciting.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Well it should go down like Halo 3 did because people move on.

Nah dood, like 360 is best for shooters.

OT: There's going to be a lot more competition, so I suspect Halo to follow its trend of continually decreasing MP population.

The entire Reach community here is negative. Almost all posts are. The ones who at least liked the game have somewhat moved on.
