Subject: Why weren't there any models for Infected yanme'e or unggoy?

Don't Drones already have a hive-mind. Wouldn't it be confusing if they could be affected by Flood?

Nonetheless, I love watching Drones fight Flood. Bringing them up the elevator on The Covenant. Good times...
Well the Flood have a graveMIND, and the drones have hiveMIND. So I guess it's just like switching "minds". The Gravemind rips the Drone away from its hivemind, since it's stronger.

With feral flood I guess the hivemind has to let the drone go since it is an ineffective cog in the machine per say.

Smith Lords

I'm pretty sure the smaller biomass was converted into carrier forms.

I am merely a soldier in the massive army commonly known as the Internet.

I think I saw something like this on Ascendant Justice a few years ago. Jackals can be converted to carrier forms but it takes a long time, while Grunts cannot because they lack the amount of Calcium in their bodies needed for the infection form to reshape the body into a combat or carrier form. I'm not sure about Yanme'es though.

What a waste....

They weren't infected because they weren't able to become combat forms due to a lack of calcium due to their rather small size. I believe they used them to build Graveminds.
