I think that's what they were called, the Drinol.

Do you think we can maybe somehow unleash this as a weapon in covenant areas? It's supposedley an uncontrollable force that the Covenant is weak to.

It would definatley be cool to invade a Capital Ship and Unleash these vicious creatures on them.

Edit: It's Drinol and they work FOR the Covenant...
ooooooooohhh

I've been around these parts for almost eight years now...wow! Maybe I should be concerned about that...

The Drinol are huge, lumbering beasts that are only semi-tame, and used as destructive engines in Covenant engaments on highly dense worlds. They were also enemies in the game Marathon.

It is called a Drinol my friend. In response:
The Drinol or Sharquoi as it is known, is a hulking beast that is released in times of great need by the Covenant. It has yet to be released on human forces, and it has also be yet to be released in the games. It is speculated that this beast was infected by the Flood in Halo 2, and you could actually fight it on the level High Charity. This creature was known as the Flood Juggernaut and was hidden inside the Halo 2 game. If you would like to see a picture of the Drinol, you could probably find it using google. For all those fact people out there, you can find that the Drinol is a character in the game because he was mentioned in the "Conversations of the Universe" Booklet and was also shown on the Covenant Religous Tablets in the deleted scenes on the limited edition disc documentary.

i think somebody has to go outside

I'd love harming my enemies to death with butt strokes. XD

That picture is indeed the Drinol. It just had no place in H2, like the Engineers. They really need to modify it though...it looks too goofy for Halo.

If you made that 2D and stuff, it'd look more alien halo-y, but h3 isnt 2D is it??

And the drinol is probably not a sharequoi, they both have different name.

To MRY 360:
Yeah hopefully I remember the first time I fought a hunter I was like "thats this damm thing its like a walking boulder" but know I'm like " Umm...hunters...(gun shoot, Hunter cries and falls)

To everybody else:
How do I unlock the Juggernaut on High Charity

What is a drinol? or whatever?

  • 06.08.2006 1:17 PM PDT

"Not really. They eat their wounded."
"Just like chiropractors!" Caboose - funny -blam!-

"If god is love, then you can call me cupid" Sarge.

Whispering marine - "you'll give away our position!"
sarge - "I'll do as i damn well please!" (kills grunt with sniper rifle)
elites rule, MCs r cool

Drinol/sharquoi are the same thing. It doesn't just have to have one specific name; e.g grunts-unggoy, jackal-kigyar. if you don't get this read the books. I hope they are in H3, imagine fighting one whilst in a warthog.
