Is there any reason why the new enemies have organic shapes and why it had a human looking glowy skull behind that mask?

I have this idea that Precursors may have taken over the shield world from the Didact, It would explain his line "I have been waiting for this day," well, as in saying that he finally has a chance at freedom.

Just a guess, but at the end of Primordium many life forms were being uploaded and turned into computers, including at least one Forerunner. It seems possible that the Forerunners now exist as these cyborg creatures.

The 'Runners also looked a lot like humans, barring some small, superficial differences. Their skull may have been similar; the machine body could be carrying the Forerunner's DNA, or something of the 'Runners that give them the skull visage and overall organic appearance, despite being part machine.

I think it could be the Didact, but it could also very well be Medicant Bias especially because in that same line you quoted he uses the word Reclaimer. Where as the Didact really hates Humans so he probably wouldnt call the chief the Reclaimer....... but idk how closely theyre gunna follow either Halo 3 that closely.

My question is why does he want revenge so badly, plus he expressed admiration of humans for being able to stop the flood.

Pride!??!?!? The last time he was awaken from his nap He was pretty mad..... but this time he doesnt have his wife to calm him down?!?!?!? Im pretty sure though its MB. But with all the focus on the Didact in the books itll probably be him. Maybe the Didact feels as if the humans are all responsible for the complete and utter defeat they suffered agaisnt the flood.?!?!? Its all speculation on my part..

The placing of blame on humans makes enough sense. What I meant was that the Didact was replaced* by BornStellar, and Born has no reason to be angry.

Its kinda like how in mgs liquids arm was put on revolver ocelots body... then Liquid slowly took over.... Bornstellar has all the memories and all the thoughts of the former Didact has ever had. And he was and is incredibly young for a forerunner... So I imagine he must be incredibly Impressionable.

That isn't confirmed quite yet. Forerunner creations defending their installation doesn't really signal the Forerunners being the enemy. And the Didact's symbol flipping around...weird.

I think Didact was inside that ball.

The symbol had the same color as the balls lighting.

Maybe, but that's if it's the Didact. When I saw his symbol invert, it made me think of the inverted cross. That is usually used as a symbol for the anti-Christ, so who would be the anti-Didact?

Perhaps a certain -blam!- who tortured The Didact's buddies and personally executed him during the first Forerunner Saga novel?

*ahem* Master Builder

Guess that doesn't really cut it sometimes as far as knowledge goes.

They aren't and no amount of mental gymnastics can or ever will make that a tangible excuse for the Didact's alleged hostility.

Does nobody pay attention to the fact that the beings are called Prometheans? I've heard they are type or experiment of the Forerunners. But sure gives me the hebbidibbajeebies.

The beings themselves aren't Prometheans, they are Promethean creations.

If Didact goes mental and Librarian steps in late and sees him -blam!- stuff up she's gonna be pissed.

And so begins the biggest scolding ever to take place in the Universe....

In all honesty though, I hope they don't pull the "enemy to friend" thing again like this implies. We all anticipate something like it to happen, it won't be a surprise.

The big Red/Steel ball that shot off, had to be Mendicant Bias, because Cortana doesn't really know of "The Didact" yet but we all know she knows of Mendicant Bias. Pay attention to how she says "Know where he's heading off to..." she clearly knows who that is so it has to be MB. Also forerunner A.I. defending there installation doesn't mean its the Forerunners who are bad, the Flood are still out there somewhere and so are the Precursors(if you read primordium you'd know that). Also pay attention to the Human skull, I think dead Prometheans may be Preserved into those Machines so that they can still fight, or the degraded Humans that still lived on the installations might have been turned into those "Promethean Knights" which is what Frankie is calling them.

Let me tell you why that's bull-blam!-:

>We don't know how far in to Halo 4 this is
>032 is destroyed
>"He" could be Offensive Bias, Didact, Master Builder or someone else
