It's simple mathematics really.
Hi Bungie and everyone else. Recently, about a week ago or so, I was getting ready to play Halo Reach but my xbox wouldn't read the disc. I knew immediately what the problem was, because it was something that had been a long time coming that I was just trying to be really careful about. I pre-ordered the Halo Reach console bundle from gamestop back in 2010 and upon the day of it's release, the very first time I took the game out of the case just shortly after 12:01 a.m. Tuesday September 11th, 2010 the center ring of the disc that holds to the case CRACKED! ...The game still played thankfully, and I was very careful for almost a whole two years now that every time I took the game out of the case (which I consider to be the problem, those original case's center ring grips are extremely tough customers..) it would cause no further damage. My efforts were not in vain, however the day has come that I am no longer able to enjoy your fantastic game on my original disc. It may even receive a proper burial. You may ask why I wold continue to plkace my disc back into a case which I considered faulty. My answer is simply that the game BELONGS in it's home! My Halo collection is nearly complete, and it is and will remain the dominating visual in my room. Or im just kinda OCD, I dunno...
The reason I tell you this story is to convince you of my loyalty to your cause of world domination. And also, to perhaps convince you to have mercy on one of your most loyal subjects. I feel like a chump asking for a hand-out. But that is exactly what I am doing. Would you send me another disc if I were to send in proof of purchase? Or is my issue something that I should take up with Microsoft of Gamestop? I am in need of answers, but mostly, in need of my Reach! Perhaps your shining brilliant godly lights will burn all the brighter if you were to have mercy on me?
