There is a thin line between insanity and genius, i would put myself right in the middle and i enjoy every second of it.

High Charity or UNSC Infinity?

I was just wondering what it would be like if they were to have a head-on collision... Then I wondered which was larger, it might effect the outcome.

Thanks.

Don't do anything you wouldn't want to have to explain to paramedics. Trust me, I'm a pilot.

High Charity is much, much larger. I think (and I'm just pulling this off the top of my head) that High Charity is roughly 250km in diameter. The UNSC Infinity is over 3.5mi long. The Forerunner Dreadnought in the center of High Charity was 14km long, making it longer than the Infinity. It's not contest; High Charity is going to fare a whole lot better than the Infinity.

High Charity is the size of a small moon at nearly 300km in diameter. UNSC Infinity is only 3.5km long.

The Covenant super carrier in Halo Reach is 27 km long, more than twice the size of the Forerunner dreadnought. Even Covenant assualt carriers, the large ships such as R'tas Vadum's flagship in Halo 3 are 5km long, larger than the Infinity.

The Infinity is the largest ship in the UNSC Fleet. It is dwarfed by ships of the Covenant and Forerunners to put it simply.

Also, High Charity is a space station, not a ship. If the Infinity managed to make it past the tens of thousands of Covenant ships, many of which are larger than the Infinity, it would be obliterated on impact by High Charity's mass.

Funny that this is all coming from someone who's favorite ship class is a UNSC Frigate. Only half a Km long...

The UNSC Infinity is 3.5 miles long, or 5.6 kilometers long, so it's larger than an Assault Carrier.

Waypoint Moderators aren't really Moderators, just power hungry and its goal is defend their beloved Halo at all costs. (Meaning that they wank Halo too much.)

BS Angel is alleged foe so, be wary of Waypoint and its moderators! Do not attempt to move to Waypoint. Enter your own risk.

*WARNING* IT IS MY OPINION.

Wrong.

At recent Infinity multiplayer video, it clearly states that Infinity is 3.5 miles long which it puts to be 5.6 km long. Which, it is considerably larger than Assault Carrier. Only HC and Supercarrier dwarfs Infinity now.

This, I think the UNSC new fleet has the edge on the Covenant, but not the new enemy obviously.

I ♥ Bungie!

High Charity of course. It's like a flying New York City, the infinity is just 3 kilomiters long.

Once again, it's not 3 kilometers anymore. It's now 5.6 kilometers due to recent video saying that infinity is now 3.5 miles long which it fundamentally equals to be 5.6 kilometers only. Larger than AC.

Oh wow, I appear to have my measurements wrong them. Seems I'm still basing things off of Grasslands that stated it was 3.5 km ( Which I guess being four years before Halo 4, gives considerable time to add onto the ship ).

5.6 km is odd though, judging from the size comparison between the Frigates escorting the ship in the live action trailer. But then again, a trailer is a trailer.

Thank you for noting the inconsistency. Now I feel proud the the UNSC fleet has one of the largest ships in the Universe.

High Charity. It's literally half a planet!

Straight from the wandering mind of Watson 203

High Charity isn't literally half half a planet at all.
When the faction of San 'Shyuum who wanted to alter and use Forerunner technology barricaded themselves within the Dreadnaught on their home planet they activated the engines and attempted to take off. The ship was so powerful that when it did take off it pulled a large amount of the planet with it. I'm not sure why, it may have been partially buried or attatched to the planet some how but it did. The engines also weren't operating at full power. Had they been the planet would have probably fallen to pieces or a larger chunk would've been taken off. It depends on how big the San 'Shuum's homeworld is.
Eventually the San 'Shyuum along with the other races, when they were assimilated into the Covenant, built the city around the remnants of the planetoid, making it what is now known as High Charity.

It could be compared to our moon, which is supposedly part of Earth that was broken off by some sort of disaster such as an asteroid impact. The piece of Earth didn't have enough momentum to escape our gravity well and so instead ended up in orbit around us and became Earths only moon, Luna.
