I'm just wondering how many of you guys play with toggle crouch on/off. I have hold to crouch on as of now, but I'm thinking about switching to toggle. I know something like switching crouch to toggle seems trivial, but it seems like something that could make a huge difference in a DMR fight. With toggle on, you don't have to press down on the stick while you aim, therefore making aiming easier and more accurate. However, with hold to crouch on, you can squat down and pop back up instantly. What are your thoughts(if any)?

Yeah man I use toggle, Its better when you are sneaking around and not worrying about leaving the left analog pressed, BUT, When I feel like being a douche I take off toggle because tea-bagging looks alot funnier when you arent on toggle because you bounce alot faster

I prefer to let my T-bags to sink in a little. Like in Halo 3, if you timed it proper, you would get the dead body to bounce with you (it's the gif some people have as their avatar for this forum).

Crouching has got me out of so many bad situations and put me into so many opportune multi kill moments. I keep it toggle.

yep, me too.

100% Australian.

I only use Toggle Crouch when I'm hiding.

Alright, so from the sounds of it, toggle seems to be the best option. Thanks for the input guys - I'll try it out later I guess and see how well it works out for me.

Any longtime Halo player will tell you toggle off is the superior option.

I used to toggle but I turned it off. it allows me to duck under headshots, ghandi hop, crouch jump easier, and tbag faster

Toggle off, gives me more options and flexibility.

A delayed dodge crouch can mean your life.

"Were it so easy..."

Leave it to hold to crouch for one important reason:

If you are shot while in toggle crouch, it makes you stand up. While if you are shot in hold crouch you remain crouched. This make ALL the difference in long range DMR duels, as when you are crouched you may have a higher Rate of Fire, since bloom affects the weapon less.
