So according to Halopedia the player in Spartan Ops is a member of a four-person SPARTAN-IV team known as Majestic Squad. Will the presence of Master Chief diminish their importance? As in make them pretty much another redundant set of characters like Noble Team or Dare's Squad?

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

I highly doubt it or else 343i wouldn't be using them.

Buck's squad is more than just a set of "redundant characters."

I'd say probably yes. If they were involved in the same missions.

Like say, in Spartan ops, Chief does something that drastically changes the mission.

However, as I hear it, Spartan ops mission line is completely removed from what Chief's missions are.

They actually take place six months after the main campaign.

"I may not be perfect, but always been true."

I heard the team is actually called Fireteam Crimson (seeing the data from Spartan Ops on the promotional videos)..

Burn Bright, Burn Blue. Become one of KOGU, the Fire of Pride!

Totally not. MC is one man, he can't do EVERYTHING on Halo 4.

Five exclamations marks are a good signifier of an insane mind. As is trying to hide from Death in an airtight room. Silly wizard.

I doubt that Majestic will even have that big of an impact in the overall universe anyway.

I think everyone ought to know that S:OPs takes place 6 months after the end of Halo 4's campaign (one of the recent GI articles said it). So I'd complete the campaign first.

OT: Doubt it, not for as long as S:OPs is supposed to last. They're supposed to really getting into exploring Requiem as a whole as well as unlocking more mysteries. Will be interesting to see how it works out.

I believe so, The spartans in Halo 4 basically are meeting their hero.
