Bungie Universe

Subject: I have a multi-pronged question

If good looks could kill, I'd be a weapon of mass destruction.

Q: Hey, what did Hitler say to the black jew?
A: Get to the back of the oven.

This is mainly directed towards bungie, but to allow the nature of discussion, I'll attempt to phrase the questions in a non specifically directed manner.

1. Do you think we will ever see bungie's Halo Bible?

2. Has bungie "retained" it's own "version" of the halo bible, considering it different from 343's version, a la "Alien vs Predator" and their respective universes? Or do you think bungie surrendered the halo bible to 343, opting instead to not retain any former components of said Bible?

*just for clarification, I'm asking whether bungie's hypothetical bible still belongs to them and doesn't officially acknowledge what 343 has done, at least without bungie's consent.

3. How much has 343 collaborated with bungie (not necessarily in the engineering aspect, but simply in story concepts) in developing the Halo universe post bungie inception? Are they staying true to what bungie had envisioned? Somewhat? Perhaps radically changing it?

4. Will we ever get to see bungie's vision for Halo 4 had it come to be, and perhaps, if bungie still holds their own Halo Bible, all of its mysteries unveiled, seeing as how, pending the answers to previous questions, their bible may no longer be 100% canonical to 343's universe and vice versa?

Thoughts?

The Halo Bible will be buried deep within Bungie.

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

Your tone and use of very specific words makes me think you're a Bungie fanboy looking for a way to undermine Halo 4. :/

If you must know, I was very disappointed with Reach and felt bungie had let a lot of its fanbase down. It's almost as if Reach was an afterthought, only developed because they were contractually obligated to do so.

However, I still love and respect bungie and am very much looking forward to their next product.

I've liked what I've seen from 343 so far. Loved, even. Although I have some doubts with the way they're handling multiplayer, I'm saving my full opinion until I play the game.

I'm simply asking for the sake of greater understanding.

I would imagine that as part of the seperation there is a nondisclosure agreement in place that would cover Bungie's Halo Bible.

I'm sure they retain all that they've envisioned somewhere, I'm just curious to see if, since canon now belongs to 343, will bungie reveal everything they had?
