There is no doubt Reach is the scourge of Halo. I may not have liked H3 but just look at how it's being treated.
-No file support for H3 coming to Waypoint (or at least, not immediately)
-No updates for H3
-Anniversary using 90% Reach assets, only a few are from H3 (Cortana, Flood, AR)
-Anniversary including skulls that make CE play like Reach: Recession (useless AR and pistol), Bandanna (bottomless clip Firefight), Grunt Funeral (random Grunt jetpacks), Grunt Birthday (just graphical), Eye Patch (like Bloom, it screws up aiming), Boom (grenade nukes), Mythic (melees do nothing to enemies), Foreign (makes sandbox uninteresting)
It's despicable!
And what does 343 say to all this? Their excuse for using Reach's mp for Anniversary says enough: to avoid splitting the community.
M$ is maneuvering H3 into the past. Hopefully, Reach will share that same fate when H4 comes out. That would be sweet justice!
On the bright side, H4's AR is more similar to H3 (canon consistency), H4's vehicles and grenades are closer to H3, and apparently, movement speed and jump height is closer to H3. I just hope that the Banshee gets some drastic changes or at least resembles the H3 Banshee like in the concept art.
