Nope. SouthPole isn't a person. He's the avatar of the force of tryhards everywhere. He stalks the web looking for retards to set straight. He can not be stopped by mere bans or thread locks for he shall rise anew.

The only reason it's bad in Reach is because they are way too powerful.
The problem isn't too much damage. The fuse is too short and player movement is too slow. Add a pathetic jump height, and Reach grenades are nearly unavoidable.

Yes it is. Obviously, having a faster movement speed would help, but they are too powerful.

Always up for REACH customs!

There's no such thing as "grenade spam", there's only "grenades I'm not skilled/aware/properly positioned enough to avoid".

No, if a grenade lands near you in Reach you are guaranteed to take damage, and when the grenade thrower is just spamming the left trigger, you will be forced to die, or move somehwere where an enemy can headshot you.

If a grenade lands near you, you got outplayed and they deserve a kill.

There's no "spamming", you can only carry two frags. That's as silly as saying people "spam" rockets.

Rockets are different because its a gun that you picked up.

And the fact that a grenade landing near me means i instantly got outplayed is the reason i am leaving this -blam!- multiplayer. I will always love the campaign and story of Halo but the multiplayer experiance is a no go now.

Link your gamertag. I want to see if you simply suck at grenades or not before I talk about this any further.

I would, but my WLID situation is kind if -blam!- up, basically i have about 3 accounts in one WLID, but when i link it it links the one that i dont use. And when i change the WLID for one GT it changes it for all the GTa in the console.

I dont even use grenades that much anyway so i would undoubtedly be negative with them

Grenade "spamming" was not a problem in H3.

0.79 K/D overall, 0.33 frag grenade K/D. Pretty obvious the problem is you, not grenades.

Why even bother, really?
I rage.

Aren't you the idiot that used "Nade Spam" to justify the use of Armor Lock?
Please leave, you will not be missed.

global warming isn't proven and won't be - it's more of a political play for funding for "research"

Armor lock was not needed.

The ability to move faster than the time nades to explode was

Reach took away your ability to escape nades.

That is why Reach sucks.

When I tried to dodge a grenade the connection in game will make the grenade always chip my shields a bit... even when it was clear I was at a safe range.

They have a huge radius and decently fast fuse (not as fast as Halo 3).

  • 06.07.2012 4:53 PM PDT

Arbitor they outnumber us three to one!
Then it is an even fight.

Arbitor > Arbiter.
Arbitor = Rank above Arbiter.

A big thanks to kids that did this to 343 after they heard they get an infection game mode in halo 4 with no thought of normal playlists.

You should only spawn with one grenade.
This

in my opinion it takes skill to use grenades

you are retarded
typical match for meh
run into a 1v1 encounter
begin to dmr my my opponent, before he even thinks about shooting
nades immediately chips me down to half and then ARs me to death.

pure retardness

Grenades should have either been Halo 3 strength, nerfed after the beta or spawn with only one. Also it doesn't help that base player speed is so damn slow that you can see them but the player is limited that you can't avoid them.

0.79 K/D? From my experiences it's usually retards like OP that are amazing at grenade placement/'spam'.

Wait... you have grenades too doncha!? Then why is it a problem since you would be on equal grounds as everyone else!? The reason why I think they are more powerful then in Halo 3, is obviously because of the AL making them almost completely useless without the buff. And you should treat grenades as an extension of yourself... being able to throw a projectile to hopefully land a couple of shots before they can do the same makes for interesting gameplay in my opinion.

So before you say goodbye for good. Just think of all the good times you had with Halo, and think of all of those players you'll be leaving behind if you do so.

My KD is going up. I will keep on playing until my KD is 1.2 so I will look like a respectable player at least

Before Reach I had never had any experience with online games so I kept going extremely negative for a while, guess that why my KD is so low, but nowadays more often than not I go positive and get the most kills in a match.

Same here... honestly, people who bring up K/D are pricks. It's not about K/D as so much it's about winning. Some of the highest earning MLG players have negative K/D scores. If I'm on a team full of randoms going against a full party... I will without a doubt go negative (if the team is any good). But in a free-for-all... I'm almost garunteed to win.

Ask anyone who matters... k/d means little in Halo (reach specifically).
