We have just started a new clan called Coinace as you can see from the list below PeeWee Suggs 55 has established a set of guidlines for the clan. So for all of you who have posted saying you want to join a competative skilled clan message PeeWee Suggs or myself Pickledyl with a friend invite or somthing of the kind, and we will be sure to get back to you.
Purpose
Clan Coinace is going to be an organized clan composed of members who have strong Halo 2 statistical profiles on bungie.net. The intent of focusing on members who meet that criteria is to build a team that can achieve the highest level possible while enjoying playing Halo 2 in a group of committed players.

Communication
I have been in clans before that have failed due to a lack of communication. In order for a clan to work together as an entity, it is essential that all members are on the same page. Bungie.net offers the creation of groups - providing a news generator and private forums for each created group. This is something every clan should take advantage of and it will be the key to this clan’s success. Upon entry into Clan Coinace, each member must join the group on bungie.net. It will be the communication center to discuss strategies, upcoming clan matches, news, and will be the place where polls on certain issues will be held. Some polls will be for every member to vote (i.e. best day of the week for clan matches, etc) and some will be solely for the Overlord and Staff to vote (Probation vote, Expellment.vote, etc). Both text and voice messages through Halo 2 will also be utilized. I encourage all members to talk to and practice with fellow members to make your clan experience with Clan Coinace the best it can be.
Organization
An organized plan of action is, in my opinion, absolutely necessary for a clan to succeed. There must be established plans for both leadership and discipline. The plan for leadership would be one overlord (PeeWee Suggs 55); any amount of staff (decided by the Overlord) that never exceeds more than 20% of the maximum potential clan size (20); and the remainder as regular members. Peon status will only be used for players who are on probation.
• Probation
A Coinace member will be on probation and be demoted to Peon status if he/she meets any one of the criteria below
1. Statistical Decline (as deemed by the overlord) or extremely poor clan match play
2. The member violates any of the clan’s rules
3. The member leaves during a clan match without consulting teammates of the circumstance prior to leaving
4. Upon a “probation vote” by the overlord and staff members. If a staff member calls a “probation vote” for a specific member’s violation of the rules, it must be OK’d by the Overlord before it goes to vote. When it goes to vote, 3/4 of the Overlord and Staff must vote Yes for the member to be put on probation.
It should also be noted that if a member meets criteria numbers 1-4 above, they
will automatically be on probation without a vote.
If a member meets more than one of the criteria for probation, they will automatically be put on probation (if they aren’t already on it) and will be subject to an “expellment vote”.
• Expellment Vote
Yes or No vote held for the overlord and staff to decide on whether or not a member should be expelled. A majority vote of yes boots the member out of the clan and permanently bans them from ever rejoining Clan Coinace.
Intelligence
This word goes a long way in explaining what this clan is all about. It is intelligent to see what made other clans fail and derive a plan that counters their mistakes. It’s intelligent to instill a focus and purpose for a clan’s existence. It’s intelligent to scout statistics when you of potential members before inviting them to join. It’s intelligent to have a “quality over quantity” philosophy when recruiting since the improvement of the clan’s core members if of greater importance than bringing in outsiders. It’s intelligent to communicate with members and derive strategies for winning and it’s intelligent to execute the plan. It is also intelligent, if you’re reading this as a potential member, to understand this entire plan before you commit blindly to this clan. As you can see, intelligence belongs in the acronym because it is what this clan is built on.
Nobility
It's a game, so win or lose, say good game to the other team after the match UNLESS the other team were a bunch of total @$$e$.
Attitude
A positive attitude is something all COINACE members are expected to bring to the table. If the clan starts off poorly, members can’t lose hope and give up – they are expected to practice, get ready for future clan matches, and bring an upbeat attitude because you never know when a win streak will begin. Thinking positively can go a long way towards success so members should always practice it.
Commitment
Commitment is something that every member of Clan Coinace is expected to exhibit. It is expected that members post on the forums, communicate and practice with other clan members, and in general, just having an unwavering interest in the clan and its success. If you aren’t interested enough in this clan and feel you could easily be swayed to join another clan, don’t bother joining. I’m only interested in members who are loyal and share the same beliefs as far as what it takes for a clan to be successful (COINACE acronym). Patience is another thing I expect from members. If this clan happens to get off to a poor start in clan matches, I expect you not to bail and to keep a positive attitude. As a team, all of the members will need time to gel and that isn’t something that always happens right away. I know that this plan will be effective, so if you stick with this clan through any of the rough times we might endure, the good times will make it worthwhile.
Excellence
At the end of the day, the bottom line of having a clan is winning. Here at Clan Coinace, we want to do that without the sloppy, unorganized methods (or lack thereof) that other clans have failed with. I want members who display and believe in each of the previously aforementioned characteristics of what makes a successful clan.
I don’t consider myself a top-tier Halo 2 player at all at this point. I am perfectly aware that even though I am overlord, it’s very unlikely that I’ll be the best player in the clan; however, if you join, know that the leadership I bring to the table will make me worthy of overlord status in your eyes.
Conclusion
Well, that’s the rules and philosophy of Clan Coinace. If you are interested in joining, send an e-mail to AirHead3745@aol.com or send a message on X-Box Live to PeeWee Suggs 55 to let me know.
