Subject: A new question about Bungie that comes to mind

Though the morrow may be barren of promises, nothing shall forstall my return.

I heard that Bungie won't be involved with E3 this year, which I do understand. They said they won't lift the darkness until they were ready, and they are holding true to what they said. However, one thing came to mind that I am wondering about now. When they lift the darkness, will they say... Hey guys this is what we are doing and it'll be out xx/xx/xxxx. Or will they say.. Guys here it is, we are done with it and you will not have to wait any longer for here is your reward for waiting *presents games very near release date*. I'm guessing it will be the former, but who knows?

I think it'll be the first one. They won't get nearly as many sales with the second option because they'd leave themselves no time to advertise or build hype for their new game. The Community on B.net is only a small percentage of those who actually buy their games, so if only we knew at first, Bungie would have a very low sales percentage. Plus, they have to advertise to the PS3 community now as well seeing as they've been hiring for PS code writers for a while. Although the second option would be really cool, the first is a lot more plausible.

Definitely first option. Though it would be cool if they randomly released new content early to those with Bungie.net accounts.

To be honest, I really like teasers and would probably prefer the first option. Speculation feels like a key aspect of anticipation for a new game.
