if he survived halo 1 then its kinda obvious he survived halo 3 too... ;3

Huh?... That's some backwards logic... If he survived Halo 1 then it's obvious he survived Halo 3? How exactly is that suppose to be obvious?

His appearance in Halo 3 makes it obvious he survived Halo 1... But not the other way around.

Just because a Square is a Rectangle, doesn't mean that a Rectangle is a Square...

i was meening since he survived the explosion of the first halo he is likly to have survived the eplosion of the 3rd halo... it was a joke hence the winking panda face *;3*

Johnson's inherent badassness allows him to survive numerous life threatening situations in a single sequence. That means taking a direct hit from Guilty Spark who almost fried Chief, sliding off the platform into a long fall, and being affected by an unfinished Halo ring's premature activation that badly damaged the Ark and possibly obliterated Gravemind is not enough to kill him.

He didn't. :P

Hanger one I just shredded with the SMGs until ammo was out and I just threw 'nades like a boss while BRing.

My experience playing Cairo Station on Legendary

I thing the REAL question is: How did Johnson get the Warthog to the control room on Installation 04 v.2? Really though, it would have been impossible with all those conveniently placed one-way gaps!

Maybe he brought fusion coils and used them to launch him and his invincible hog (how did it get invincible anyway?) across the map.

Where would he get fusion coils? Well, the hog run explosions strangely resemble fusion coil explosions. Maybe Johnson deliberately sabotaged the path to the FUD with a hidden detonator in his pocket because he's secretly working with the Covenant! :o That explains the Final Grunt. That explains the presence of a Chopper. That explains why Johnson told Chief to leave him behind (so he could detonate it without being noticed)! Maybe Installation 04 II's activation is a hoax!

There's also something mystical about Arby's statement: "even in death, your Sergeant guides us". This could mean that he planned the hog run. This could mean that he's like John Kramer! :o This explains why the H3 hog run felt so scripted! This explains Mendicant Bias' statement about atoning for his sins and presumed sending of Chief to Requiem! Because Mendicant Bias = Johnson!

We've all run the simulations. We've all seen the movie... sequels. The bad guy always happens to be some guy who was presumed dead and was once a good guy. It's symbolism people. Zombies. Alien (it's a kind of rebirth). Ghost Rider. Alec Trevelyan.

Johnson.

This explains Johnson's constant "resurrections" after being killed in H3 and why he can be infected even though he's supposed to be immune to this. It's all foreshadowing.

In H4, Johnson's back. Chief's first true nemesis. The red light in the supposed Precursor, supposed Promethean Knight concept art is the glow from his charging Spartan laser. Only problem I have with this extremely complex and vivid hypothesis is, how did he get his laser back and why did it have infinite charge in the first place? Unless it's Forerunner!

I just lost all credibility didn't I? :P
