Hanger one I just shredded with the SMGs until ammo was out and I just threw 'nades like a boss while BRing.

My experience playing Cairo Station on Legendary

No, what about PC gamers? I think the mods and ninjas do a good enough job of keeping the scum in place.

I just saw a green monkey nut shot a small tan lizard(?) in a gunny sack.

I say we charge to let people post in the Septagon. The chaff would be sorted and blown away real quick...

If someone makes an account for bad purposes then they will get banned eventually. Such precautions are unnecessary.

I agree, there's a reason why we have Ninjas ready to be unleashed. All forums suffer this kind of problem, Bungie.net it's not the exception.

Roll the dice, try again.

Sure, if you want to limit the possibility of new community members arising this would be the best way to kill discussion. If the problem is alt accounts (which really isn't a problem in itself) then you just need to make accounts have more value to them. People wouldn't do that behavior if there something else to achieve on their "main" account. Achronos already tried doing this with the title system, but I have a feeling that he has another few tricks up his sleeve that he will be showing us in the next site update.

You do know that there's a system that compares IPs with those who are banned and other accounts, right?

Don't mind this guy, OP, he's just talking out his ass. The site uses cookies for that; at least know what you're talking about if you're going to be a dick about it.

OT: Meh, it's a good idea, but we can't really expect people to have a sub to one of those things in order to join, that's a bit silly. Not to mention once you create a Live ID and go to xbox.com the site creates a gamertag for you, so making an alt wouldn't be that much more difficult. The only effective thing to do would be to require XBL Gold accounts, and that's practically charging people to use the site which is a no-no.

Let's face it... alternate accounts are primarily used as a means to post harmful content without the consequence of being completely cut off from this site. If we only allow e-mails that are connected to a subscription service (Live, PSN etc.) this will help in detering individuals from posting unwanted/harmful content.

Thoughts?
Why would Bungie want to possibly restrict new customers from joining their website? Moderators is a great solution for now. Implementation of filtering content is a great solution for the future.
