It's a storyboard, and it showed up here first.

In the Bible, the flood destroys the old covenant, and then the new covenant emerges. I think we will be in the new covenant, without the Prophets... and maybe the Drones and Brutes. Who knows?

Actually that makes no sense at all. The Old Covenant was established during the life of Moses. Moses lived hundreds of years after Noah and the flood. I'm sorry to say, sir, that you are very mistaken.
Also the New Covenant was established after the death and resurrection of Christ. That happened a couple thousand years after the flood.

In halo 2 graavemind came in contact with her. I think that gravemind has taken over or possessed her. Just like he did with keyes, and the prophet.

i would just like to put foward that cortana is artificle (not sure bout the spelling) and gravemind is organic so if he has posseded her, how could he unless he can interface into the high charity computer system.

P.S
in halo 1 when cortana says "do you know what this bastard nearly made you do!"
then masterchief says "stop the flood" or somin like that she then explains to kill the flood you have to kill its food. later on 343 guilty spark says "last time you said if i were in your poisition would i do it and i thoght about it and yes i would" or somin like that, Could that mean the chief could goes back in time in halo 3 and stop the flood the first time and meet 343 guity spark and ask him the Question mentioned above And the arbiter stops the flood this time ? or am i thinking to hard?

My question is this:

How did the Flood get back to the rings?

The Forerunners(or whoever did it) wouldnt have activated the rings if the Flood hadnt left them... Otherwise they could just destroy the Halo's themselves and be rid of the Flood. So, obviously, the first time around, the Flood had taken Forerunner ships and escaped. But how did they get back? You would think they wouldnt go back voluntarily... If they all just died, there would be Flood infected Forerunner bones, or whatevers inside of them, strewn about everywhere...

I think the construct she was fighting in halo2 was grave mind think about it he has control of 2401 so he can access computer systems and she is struggling with gravemind in the trailer and struggling with something in halo2.

just had a thought. i dont know if anyone remembers the site with tons of sentences and stuff on it but there was one letter and it said it was from Cortana but the first line said not to acknowledge any communications from the being called cortana. wonder if it has any connection.

that was a question i had a while ago but when i thought about it, first of all, we dont really know how much the flood can travel around in space. second, if the flood were that close to us the whole time they probably wouldve found us. sure we were here and still never found them but the thing is we werent looking for the flood is looking for us. my point is that, i doubt that the flood was around ever since the forerunners activated the halos and that they probably did go away for quite some time.

To hear the trailer at its best, download it to your 360, go into sound options in the setup blade/. Select digital not analoge, and choose dolby. then hook up a 5.1 certifed system.

Headphones apparently can be used but you may want to keep changing the sound options till you hear it right.

P.S the Screaming of "No" can be heard around 30 seconds+ into the trailer

Fargoth, that would be the 'cortana letters'. It was a viral campaign by Bungie announcing the first Halo game sent to a fansite for marathon, Bungie's original FPS. And yes, Cortana's speech in the trailer is very much related to those letters.

The glass is neither half full nor half empty; it's just twice as large as it needs to be.

*idea*

When Cortana screams this painful 'No', it could be possible that Gravemind posseses Cortana (and Cortana is trying to resist), to tell things to the Chief, through Cortana! Sounds like a very likely/possible/plausible theory to me o.O...
