Last year we were waiting for it. We were wondering what Aerospace was, but -- more importantly -- how it was going to affect us.

Aerospace let a lot of us members down; however, some of the fanboy'd members thought that Aerospace would work out. Clearly it hasn't. One indie game in one year isn't exactly the greatest thing that could have happened.

So this year I have a feeling that Bungie is going to give out some major news, especially since it's going to be the second anniversary of Reach.

Thoughts?

Wut.

Also I disagree with your thoughts on Aerospace.

Clearly it hasn't.

I don't think you know what you're talking about.

Anyway, that'd be cool, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Key

I doubt anything's coming out on Bungie Day.

They didn't feel the pressure to reveal anything at E3 and, considering Bungie Day is an even smaller platform upon which to announce something than the Electronics Entertainment Exposition, I don't think anything will be coming until around Christmas.

But, for the record, I hope I'm wrong.

Bullcrap.

Games aren't easy to pop out, especially when you're working with a smaller, independent team. Aerospace is not a failure just because you haven't heard anything yet.

You are aware that BUNGIE no longer has anything to do with Halo, right?

And why are you so focused on Aerospace? That was more for devs anyways. Destiny is where it's at right now.

I really hope so.
While it's probably true that Bungie just weren't ready to show anything at E3, I think it's also possible they just didn't want to show anything under the wing of Microsoft after finally being able to distance themselves from the company with the transition of Halo.

To me Bungie Day would be the perfect time to announce something where the focus is on them and them alone. If you look at the other largest companies (Valve, Rockstar, etc.) it's becoming more and more popular to create a more personal, unique identity by announcing things on the studio's own terms.

With so much resting on how this announcement goes I think it would be a great way of showing off the new project to a wide audience that didn't see any announcements coming post-E3, while also giving a treat to the fans who have (mostly) been so patient over the past 2 years.

Roll the dice, try again.

I hope they update the website come bungie day.

Because what they have now isn't worth getting a booth at E3. They're going to show us something. Just not something massive.
