Subject: Need a good Teammate for 50 TS

Black Ops 2 I run two accounts warmup only at 1.97kdr...real is at 3.77. i'm in master division 4 league play. pm 4 clan inv...must have 2.5 kdr or better

Gamesager always searches with his team and because of reach's flawed matchmaking usually go against a bunch of randoms. Look at the history of the players they faced this match. A lot of them have sub 1 KDRs (best player has 1.06) and terrible win loss. I bet that most of the players were in pairs or alone because those are the types of teams I get when facing against full parties. Reach has no ranking system. Even if it's there at all, playlist preferences like "chatty" and getting a "quick match" take precedence over skill.

Personally, I don't like Reach. The multiplayer maps are bland looking and play poorly and the game mechanics are gimmicky. There is much more emphasis on power weapon control and things like sniping take no skill. It's a mediocre game in many ways. The only things that are decent about Reach is Forge world (which the objects lack colour) and custom options for making gametypes. Forge World is a huge step in halo. Everything else took the series back several steps. I'd rather play Call of Duty 4 or Black Ops than Reach.

*Looks at the two paragraph rant against Reach*

... What? What did any of that have to do with wanting a teammate for Halo 3?

It's part of the natural progression of this thread. Deal with it.

Reach is not a competitive game so taking the best players from Reach means nothing. Many of the hardcore players left Reach for Starcraft, Cod, or even Halo 3. Also, this isn't MLG. You're talking about vanilla Reach which gives no incentive for competition or winning. Unless you're that much of a nerd to want to be the best at a game that most people in the competitive scene see as a complete disaster.

I've watched gameplays by gamesager and the rest. There is nothing special about what they do. They get matched against extremely bad players who don't take it seriously. Even if you don't like cod, the players still care about their performance. In Reach, people are just laughing about how they fell of a giant spire and assassinated some guy out of luck. People in Reach don't even try to learn strategy because the gimmicks and variable distractions are enough to keep them interested in the game.

When you are searching full parties and constantly playing against people who don't know each other, take the game serious or play it on a consistent basis of course you're going to dominate. Reach is a pub game for casuals and that is all.

I play games for gameplay, not silly gimmicks

H3 MM warrior

Reach S7, 8 and 9 arena warrior.

H4 MM legend

lol, are you kidding me? stop being in denial shorty. Just because you dont like reach doesnt mean there isnt a skill gap. Sager and his BTB team have beaten full teams of pros. And dont say its because they dont play BTB, because the pros still won games too, there is a reason they get paid to play.

Gamesager redefined how bad Reach is. Once it was bloom, then it was banshee.

your joking right?

sager is one of the best default reach players in the game.

besides reach really isnt horrible. Its not as good as h3, but it has its redeemable qualities.

lmao now this is truly funny

you people need to get over it. Is reach a good halo? No, but its a solid multiplayer. Maybe it doesnt live up to the previous games, but w/e.

Fact is, the reason most of you dislike it so much, is because you are bad at it. I was the same when it first came out. If I really hated it, I wouldnt have 3000ish games on it.

Im fine with people that just dont like it, and play H3 because they have more fun on it, but there is no reason to call reach unplayable because it isnt H3.

I wish I could just nerd rage about this, but I actually do agree. Reach wasn't unplayable or anything; I just hated the competitive play with an insatiable passion. I love Halo 3's competitive play, ergo I play Halo 3.
