(10:20:17 PM) Pezza: You were the one with the video camera breathing heavily. Of course you saw.

Sweet update, loved it.

Very nice update as always. I'm loving the whaambulance weekly stuff (That should so be a magazine).

And the water in the Mister Chief looks very nice. Almost as nice as the water in Oblivion. Not quite though. Don't get discouraged guys, just rework the entire engine. How long could it possibly take?

Love the Waaahmbulance and how you tease us so with your milestones that we wouldn't care about. Some of us techno-nerd fans might find it interesting. Anyway, I really posted because I would love to see a picture of this week's M.C. formatted for use asa 360 background or just a PC wallpaper. Thanks!

the only reason people cheat is because it's hard to win these days because of many delevelers modders bridgers standbyers and boosters, etc if i add up all the games with one of this things in it it would be about 50 times and how many times have i had one of those people on my team once only once was i lucky to have a modder on my team and win usually they're all against me if bungie wants to ban cheaters they should ban delevelers and team killers because they are what make halo 2 boring

haha i agree with that stupid little kids think there so good cause they cheat and us legit people cant do much about it so then when they complain they cant spell a easy little word because they dont read, study or do anything just find bigger and better was to become a better cheater.....get a life haha

What's up with the top maps graphic? Only original maps listed and no new ones? Seems like an old graphic to me....

Great Update!

Dont get too wrapped up in the Internet. It's already forgotten about you.

I just wanted to say that this was the best update I've ever read.
A lot of tease.
A lot of info.
And a lot of humor making fun of people that screw honest people over in MM.

If those e-mails are real, and I'm sure they are, then please do keep them coming.

I mean it though.
This weekly update had the perfect balance.
It has all the Bungie mystery but still shows a little skin and gets me all excited.

Keep up the good work.
Us hardcore fans need it.

How desperatre we have become for even the smallest morsel of Halo 3 information that the mere mention of a 'new weapon' has everyone pouring praise and gratitude on the weekly update. I love the waaahmbulance excerpts but lets be honest here - as giddy as the thought of a new weapon makes me it is for the briefest of moments only (I checked and it lasted about fifteen seconds...) I am left feeling rather empty after reading the update and expect I will continue to feel this way until I'm standing outside Gamestation with my prepaid receipt for halo3 in hand in the bleakness of a british winter sometime early next year...

Please don't take this the wrong way Frankie - I realise you cant be posting pictures and in-game footage all willy nilly, sometimes I just think that maybe I'd rather have nothing at all until release date- as the saying goes, "Had I not seen such riches, I would not have known that I was poor..."

Give more waaahmbulance!!!!!

I agree. More of that wonderful Whaambulance is needed. I think it should be weekly in the update. Like Mister chief, only with less work and much more hillariousness! It is simply divine that whambulance.

Frankie, I would like to thank you for posting some detail on how the H3 game is coming around. You guys at times can be so tight lipped on stuff it drives me nuts. I know it's with good reason. I'm not eger to let go of H2 to replace it with H3 just yet, I have always told people that I have thought you guys have always been ahead of it's time in gaming with such a smooth game compared to all the other games. My interest in H3 right now is what the future has for us in gaming.
I am sure with it being HD on the 360 it would be nice to be teased every now and then with at least some HD screen shots of what to expect, anything you can give us would be great, from how many people online at a time, what kinda co-op if any, how much work does the 360 use to play the game. I know that this is the end to the story but with a game that continues to bring in so much money I'm sure you have toyed with ways to keep the game alive with new maps either by way of downloads or just new disc to purches with no story line so Halo with always stay alive. I have the 360 and have tons of games for it already that look great on it and are fun but I still come back to Halo. I think you guys have a smart team working and and we can only expect the best from you. Halo was such a good idea for a game, I just hope you dont let it end here.
I just wanted to thank you,

From a fan from the beggining

Wow, Lockout absolutely crushes everything else.
Hm.. I smell a 360sized Lockout :D

Not to take anything away from it, since it probably is my favorite map too, but I'm thinking that the fact that its the first map on the list have something to do with its massive usage.

Colossus gets no love :(

Awesome Marty interview. I wish he was my dad.

Good update, keep teh kewlness coming, and more importantly the Halo 3 info.

EDIT-- hey thats right, where are the new maps on the chart?!

Multiplayer test sessions are proceeding apace and I already have stumbled into one of the perils of Halo 3 development - playing a two hour multiplayer game of Halo 3 and then playing Halo 2 at night, only to discover I have forgotten the layout of Burial Mounds and the cool new weapon I just got used to, isn't in Halo 2…

i hate to say stuff that might start rumours but sometimes i get the feeling that that sentence means that burial mounds has a new layout in halo3... or is that just the cool weapon???

probably just the cool weapon but anyway if this spawns a horrible rumour then you can come kick my ass... just message me for my address (anyone not working for bungie will not get my address)

Halo 3 (31st), ODST (14th) and Reach (4th) Mythic Conqueror. (Mythic is Solo, Legendary, All skulls on + scoring on and no deaths/saves).

Can't wait to play Halo 3.

Edit: Since lockout is so popular, does that mean you will make more small, intricate maps for Halo 3?

Speaking of Halo 3, i wonder what the next iteration of Blood Gulch will be called.

Well, nice update as always!
-and for spreading rumors i apologize in advance for this one.

I have aquired the script and script review for the movie halo just a while ago from a site i will not tell. but i have to say i dont know if this is the real deal... but if it is, the halo movie is gonna be one of the best god damn movies out their. Halo is a balls to the wall unapologetic, ruthlessly ultra-violent war movie – and it’s cool as hell, man. How violent is it? It’s the Saving Private Ryan of video game movies. We got headshots, bodies being cut in half by the swords of the Stealth Elite. We see what kind of damage plasma grenades can do and yes we get to see the horror of flood infection vessels – heads snapping back and torsos exploding.

-if it is a fake, its the best god damn fake movie script i have ever read

if you want to spoil your own fun and excitement and cant wait for the movie release email me if you want to know the site.............and bungie please dont kick my a**

Excellent update as usual.. love the "end of days" Mister Chief. He is my favorite one to date. Ummm.. I didn't mean "to date" as in to take out for dinner and a movie and then cop a cheap feel on the porch... I meant that he my favorite incarnation of Mister Chief I have seen so far.
Just wanted to be clear on that.. don't get the wrong idea.
