Subject: Favorite mission in halo reach campaign

Tip of the Spear, Long Night of Solace and Pillar of Autumn are all half decent, there aren't any particularly good missions IMO.

Lone Wolf.

Because it's the only level that you can end by killing yourself.

I <3 Halo:Reach - amazingly fun and best campaign + amazing Soundtrack
I <3 Halo 3:ODST - best soundtrack + Firefight + Coastal Highway and Mombassa Streets, amazingly unique campaign.
I <3 Halo 3 - best multiplayer levels + Forge + best Custom Games + soundtrack
I <3 Halo 2 - amazing huge fun campaign + soundtrack + Fun multiplayer
I <3 Halo: CE - started it all

I loved the whole campaign. Each missions felt unique and different, but I guess my favorite out all of the levels would either be The Pillar of Autumn, or Long Night of Solace.

Its hard to decide.

Many gave their lives so that we could live on. I intend to honor them by remembering them. Remember Cyborg. Remember John. Remember Noble.

Over the time I've come to like all of them, but my personal favorite is Nightfall, because it reminded me of Truth and Reconciliation (the first part at least). I really love that one.

Another great one would be Pillar of Autumn and New Alexandria was wonderful.

But I have criticism for every level and a lot of it, even Nightfall. And that would be that it wasn't Truth of Reconciliation enough...

LNoS just b/c the visuals were great. Otherwise, the campaign was boring and lacked character development.

Honestly, the only mission even close to being good in this game is New Alexandria. The rest are all either horrific, or just horrific rip-offs of moments from the other games but seriously dumbed down.

You can tell who the blind haters are very easily in this thread. And I emphasis the word 'blind.'

Anyways, I think I have to go with Long Night of Solace as well. It started with a lot of Noble Team backing you up with a great attack sequence as you make your way to the launch facility. The wraith when you're inside you can choose to destroy makes me feel more important when I take the initiative there. It introduced the space combat which I feel was done quite well, though I wish we weren't limited to a single orientation (if you try to fly 'upside down, it forces you to right yourself whether you want to or not). The null-G combat was fun, and there was the option of some stealth gameplay there which was neat. The battles were varied and there were a lot of weapon/ AA choices. The little Easter Egg where you can control the pelican gun was cool. And, of course, let's not forget the fantastic cutscenes and the development and death of whom is probably the most beloved character in the game, Jorge.

This is the only part I'll agree with. For Jorge's sake.

Not true. You can actually fly in whatever orientation you wish to. You can even do a controlled barrel-roll.

No mate. If you go a half-roll so you are 'upsidedown,' after a few seconds the system automatically puts you in the 'correct' orientation. Try it. It just automatically moves you back and you cannot stop it. It's quite annoying, since I was really wanting to make the enemy's gate be down.
