Yes. There are several avatars that I associate with 'trolls' and if I see a user with said avatar selected, I will assume they're one.

Is my avatar a troll avatar?

Nope :)

If you assign every letter of the alphabet a number, a is 1, b is 2, etc., and you take all of the values of the word "MATH", and add them, you get 42. So math is the meaning of life, the universe, and everything.

Yes. Everybody judges people based on what they see. It's just a fact- there's no taking anybody that denies this seriously.
What if I'm blind and I have all my posts read to me through text to voice software?

Like I said, text to voice software. Surely it exists, and would narrate the every action of my mouse.

I don't judge anyone over what avatar they use, that's just dumb. I look at the post material first and if I suspect something I check the username and join date. To me, avatar has nothing to do with post quality.

Now with anything there is always an exception. On that note do I associate certain avatars with certain people? Of course. but that has nothing to do with what the posted material is.

I came for Halo, but I heard the Tru7h, fought thru Carnage, and stayed for Bungie.

BUNGIE 7/7 FOREVER

...How is that even possible? Like maybe a girl avatar = people thinking you are a girl?

  • 06.12.2012 6:45 PM PDT

Not really, I never thought about judging people because of their avatar.

I recognize some people by their avatars.

Stupidity, when sufficiently advanced, is indistinguishable from magic

Yes. For example, I just judged Spartain Ken for stealing Burrito's mustache bomb.

Checking out my profile I see?

I only judge people by their avatar, I don't even read their post if it's an emblem, god help them if it's some sort of bomb with a mustache!

We miss you Logan.
Ask any question. I'll help with anything on site or off.

No, avatars doesn't tell how much a user know, or doesn't.

Judge? No.

Identify? Yes.
Pretty much this.

  • 06.12.2012 7:15 PM PDT

Depends... 99% of the time the people with the default avatar are trolls.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Coup is for silly people that think silly things. We all know that everyone should just judge people by the color of their title bar and not the context of their posts. After all, this is bungie.net and this is really srs bsness.
