Loved the wedding advice answer, I chuckled. Yet part of me believes that's probably genuine advice too.
Oh, like I'd miss a design challenge on a Mail Sack. I opted for a photo-mash-up instead of drawing everything this time. Wasn't feeling like drawing with a hangover.

I already like ecartman's more than mine ._.wow, it is amazing what you can see in an ink blot.
CS5?Yeah I use CS5, but I think all of the features I used for it are in as early as CS2. Mostly cutting, levels adjust (Ctrl+L), dodge/burn tools and blending styles.I like using several background layers so the picture blends better and using filters. I mash-up several layers with overlays and stuff (overlaying an image of tarmac onto something for easymode grunge effect, for example) quite a lot, it makes some nice effects.
I tend to avoid the premade filter effects (the ones in that filter gallery section). I'm still learning valid uses for all the other filters. I learned today that 'surface blur' is great for making the woman's skin look synthetic.

I know the feeling defnop, my artistic skills are very, very limited. My brother got all the sporty, artistic stuff. I got the short straw. I can write stories. You could have filled the inkblot with text of the first things that come to mind, that would have been something way different to submissions so far. Originality means bonus points, most of the time.
