the more i see pictures of that new alien the more i believe its a brute with elite-like shielded armor. that made me think that brutes would be the primary enemy in halo 3 and not elites. this would be a dissapointment and i hope it doesnt happen. there is evidence that most of the elites in truths fleet that is fighting on earth do not know about the rebellion and are still loyal to the covenent. i hope elites are enemies in halo 3

Curent Games: Gears of War 2, Dead Space, Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, The World Ends With You

XBL: KNIGHTOFDRAGONS

They will be. The only Elites that teamed up with the Humans is the Arbiter and all the Elites under his command.

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

i don't know what the final word is on what that was in the backround, but it seriously just looks like a brute with armor and a jetpack. wether or not they are going to be the main enemies or not i really have no idea.

actually thats not true, the only Elites that ARE still loyal to the Covenant are the Elites on Earth, along with all the other Covenant species at Earth, they are all still unified under a single flag

I'm hoping they're just grunts with jetpacks. That would make them so much more fun to kill, and listen to them scream as they fall from the sky, and go splat!

Most of the Elites are still loyal to the Prophets arn't they? I thought it was only a few Elites (grunts etc.) who rebeled? Wasn't it?

Bull -blam!-.

As far as we know, the coup never got past High Charity and the ships surrounding it.

And even if it did, we have no way of knowing what you said is true, besides the fact that it makes 0 sense. Why would only the Elites on Earth still be allied with the Covenant, and more specifically, why the Elites on Earth? When you initiate a coup d' etat, word's gonna spread. Once a distress call reaches the Elites on Earth, a lot of -blam!-'s gonna hit the fan.

If anything, very few elites would side with humans, due to the fact that they have been bombarded with propoganda for 30 odd years. Most would either stick with the Covenant until they get shot in the back, or would fight a war against 2 enemies' the Prophet/Brute Covenant and the humans.

I think everyone should just shut up.

Who the hell decided the humans teamed up with the Arbiter and his crew? Knowing how the Arbiter thinks, he would probably knock out Miranda and Johnson and hold them captive. They would probably join forces or something until the prophets and the rest of them are eliminated, but after that, it'll be back to normal.
