At the begining of The great journey in halo 2 why does gravemind emcourage the arbiter to stop tartarus from activating the ring? or as he says "there is still time to keep the key from turning" what does he want or want to do? plz post ur comments
well seeing as he is a flood and the halos are made to kill the flood......yup i would understand why he doesnt want it activated.
CortanaIt is a blurred line that lies at the edge of Godhood and Insanity. Guess which side of it I am on.The real enemy in Gears of War.The legend of Croatoan
Gravemind is apart of the flood. If Halo is activated he suffers with the flood. People always make the mistake that Gravemind is helping them.

Posted by: Blackbird42Actually I listened to the audio and he said something about the body rewarding social interaction because is was necessary to survive... well so was the appendix, and now all the appendix does is explode and kill you.
Wasn't there a possibility of Gravemind being Captain Keys?
The gravemind doesn't want the floods food to die.
But JK he wouldent blow up all his "food"/Source of knowledge would be gone!
