06' Master Race.

I know bans can be appealed, but can they be extended once given?
Suppose someone gets banned for 7-days and they continue to harass a mod, even sending death threats for example. Can that be changed into a permaban?

Note: Never been banned, just 1 warning.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Do you know about time travel?

Normal Ninjas can give 14 day bans.

I think only Master Forum Ninjas can give you more than seven days.

As for the OP, yes, bans can be extended if need be.

as tiber said, but only Master Mods have the ability to Permaban and give bans longer than 2 weeks (I think that's the amount of time).

Sure can.

Ban extensions happen typically for one of the following three reasons,

1) The banned user has a ban history that warrants or the user post an offense that exceeds the ban lengths that can be given by a ninja.

2) A ban for a less offense is given, and they a greater offense is found that warrants a greater ban. For example a user bypasses the profanity filter and gets 3 days, then later in the report queue you find that user had linked meatspin.

3) A user is banned and then continues to harass the ninja that banned them. Example are nasty PMs, creating drama threads in groups and getting other users to attack, etc.

This and if a banned user tries to sign in using an alt the orginal banned account will get an extended ban for trying to bypass the ban and the alt will also recieve a ban. I learned this the hard way a while ago..

Yes. Really. I see that as completely fair ruling.

Yes.

You're allowed to complain about your bans in groups, but getting a group of people together to somehow "rally" against the powers is nothing more than organizing a spam attack.

Planning spam attacks in a group is enough to warrants a ban.

Sure. Ninjas can do anything with little or no consequence, you see. Funny thing is, a lot of them ban people for things they are guilty of themselves.
