I was just wondering who else will feel somewhat sad at the release of the Halo 3 game, sometime next year?

What i mean is, that with the release of this game comes the ending of the story, we will see if MC can save the universe or not, and all our hours of speculation will be resolved and be no more.

I kind of mirror the closing of Halo 3 to the Return of the King, which, while an awesome movie, that rates as one of my favourites, and was the best in the trilogy, was a little depressing, in that it finished. I am a highly imaginitive person and while i look forward to the game's release anxiously, feel that a little fire in each of us will die.

Your thoughts?

Speaking of movies, after Halo 3 there is the movie. So it isn't all bad.

I'll only be sad when I finish playing it.

I'll be sad about it. I'm kinda sad just thinking about it. But it's a time to rejoice...maybe...

H3 will live on on LIVE until god knows when, look at H2, 2 years and still as strong as it was on launch day, and this is about half a year into the 360's lifespan

When I complete the game, it will be a great, yet sad moment for me.
Its like walking out of the Cinema after watching Revenge of the Sith - thats it.

Well then, a wonderful journey for all of us will come to an end. We had our good times and our bad, but we will only remember the good times, and we will look back and smile for us. It shall be sad, but then, as something dies, something new is born. Bungie shall live on even if Halo doesn't and the game shall live on, in our hearts, in our memories, in Bungie, and most of all, in our X-Box drives.

I'll be sad when Bungie moves on to other games besides Halo because that will clearly tell everyone that Halo is over.

Maybe we should make a pact, no matter what happens we will still play Halo and never forget or stop talking about it. We should keep Halo alive, maybe make a group or something on Bungie.net to help us perform this.

... Or we could just eat alot. Mmmm, Hungry Harry, Raaaa!!!

it will spoil it for me if i play it on legendary first.
after an hour of having the game, i will be smashing my 360 up in rage

and anyway, most people who claim they will play it on legendary first normally dont
you're just bluffing, making yourself look cool

at ;east i will admit that i will be playing it on normal first

Do none of you have a sense of humour?
We do, this just isn't funny.

Yea, i am sad when stuff ends, especially Final Fantasy Games... i Love their storylines and endings!!

I suppose yea, it will be sad when it ends, but unlike the Final Fantasy games, theres multiplayer, and hopefully online co-op.

i am sure it will be great.

Yeah i will be sad, i will start on heroic first though, normal would be to easy. But it will be years after the release of H3 that we forget it. I havent played halo 2 for nearly a year and its killing me that i got no money to buy 360 and H2, guitar ruled my life after my xbl account finished it subscription. :-(

And it's your connection that's slower than turtle sex.

In........................................................Out .

I'll try Normal or heroic first, probably normal so I don't get too enraged while playing.

The Frozen Minority - The most infamous clan borne from the Seventh Column.

Well, I will be quite sad, Halo has been a major part of my life for years, I'll be reluctant to let it end.

That being said however, I will constantly speculate and hold onto the thought that the next game will, at least, take place in the Halo universe. After all, the FAQ says that this will be the final game in this story arc. Not in the Halo universe.

Will I be sad upon it's release

I'll have a grin that hurts my face for about 6 months.

Maybe....a while after that time passes.....the fact there will be no more Halo games will sink in.

As my good friend pezza said a couple of posts up, this is the end of the story arc. This means that halo 3 is the end of the arc story so there may, i say again may be more games but most likely not about the chief, maybe about a ODST or something

but yeh ill be sad when its all over

Well, he'll be saving the galaxy not the universe. And if you drag a good thing out too long then it eventually becomes crappy. Like the sequels to the Fast and the Furious movie and the xXx movie.

Letting Halo R.I.P. when its done will be great, I just hope Bungie/Microsoft/Hollywood don't try and squeeze every little bit of life out of it. Then the entire Halo universe will be boring.

fools.

anyway... Bungie have in their hands a multi-billion $ franchize.

I don't think there gonna just end it with Halo3 And then the movie.

They might make after-math games and stuff like that.. and probally become richer than bill gates. OWNEDGE TO THE MAXEDGE!
