So do Halo 3 spartans run 2% faster than Reach spartans or not? Or do Halo 3 Spartans run faster than just 2% compared to the the Reach Spartans?

While H3 runs faster, it is not 2%.

What % is it actually?

I don't know. I won't make any conclusion based on that video with reasons mentionned previously.

So Halo 3's running is faster than Reach's running by more than 2% or less than 2%???

What do you mean? You said it's not 2% faster. So I'm asking if Halo 3 is faster than just 2% or slower than just 2%. I'm not asking if it is 2% because I know you said it wasn't.

And how do you know Bungie scaled the maps differently to the Spartan IIIs than Spartan IIs?

there's a lot of factors that were not included in that video which is why it is not a credible source. Spartan 2's AKA( master chief in this scenario) is confirmed to be 7.5 to 8 feet tall while lone wolf i cant remember is a 6-6.5 foot tall Spartan 3, the scale of objects to player models is completely different in reach to halo1-3.

to get an exact percentage of movement speed, acceleration from halos 1-3/ reach like stated in other comments, master chief from every game and lone wolf would need to be place in the same level to do an accurate percentage so no he cant give yo a higher or lower answer all he can say is yes you move faster in halo1-3 compared to reach

TL;DR( to many factors that were not accounted for in that video to be creditable and considered accurate...)

He's Noble Six, not Lone Wolf.

halo reach is faster, alot faster, sprint makes it even more faster, play halo 3 and you will see how fast reach is in comparison, halo CE even moreso

Acceleration and Field of View.

No even if you run for awhile without stopping for it to not accelerate anymore it still feels slower than Halo 3 by like 5-10% slower.

I don't think it's FOV either, because when I go Beaver Creek on Halo: Reach.

Then go to Halo 2 on Headlong.

Halo 2 feels way faster. And I'm playing on a huge map, with huge sightlines on Halo 2 and it stills faster than Reach playing Beaver Creek.

Then when I go to Beaver Creek in Halo 2 then go to Reach and play the same map, Halo 2 still feels faster, and I'm not talking about the acceleration.

If it feels faster, then it probably is still FOV.
They pushed it back farther in Reach, allowing you to see more while in 2/3 it was much closer so everything seemed to go by quicker as you moved.

I don't think, that smaller FoV would result in the game looking quicker. It's the opposite. You can see from the videos in the Youtube, that higher FoV makes the game look quicker while gameplay of the same game with smaller FoV looks a lot slower.

This I feel kinda like I'm running slower than Reach because of the FoV in Halo 2, but it also feels like I'm running faster, because my character runs a bit faster than the Reach spartan, and I think the 100 unit speed test is highly innaccurate.

Why would 343i use Halo 3 inspired movement and why would Bungie say they made the movement speed slower in Reach because of sprint, and why would 343i think you shouldn't move slow just because you have sprint so they used Halo 3 movement for Halo 4, IF IT'S ALMOST THE SAME MOVEMENT SPEED?

Halo: Reach's screen was probally alot closer to the goal then Halo 1/2/3 but Halo: Reach has farther FoV, so it looks alot farther than Halo 1/2/3, so Halo: Reach goal could of been 95+ units away from the goal at the beggining of the video, while Halo 1/2/3 was probally 100+ units away from the goal at the beggining of the video.

I don't know.

I know, but is the movement speed 2% slower or slower than 2% or faster than 2% compared to Halo 3?

Stop trolling. It doesn't matter and there is no way to actually compare the two because of the many different factors that would contribute to the results being inaccurate.

Because there is sprint.
