i was reading a thread a while back it was something like; what would you rather have right now $10,000,000 or Halo 3, and loads of people chose halo 3. That got me thinking, if people want halo 3 that bad, they would easily pay more for it then a usual xbox 360 game. Microsoft could sell the game for way more than the usaul xbox 360 price and people would still buy it, and they would make more money. That's all they want.

i wouldn't buy any game for double a normal games price, but i wonder if anyone would?

Would you be willing to pay more than that?

Mabye...I don't know why I voted 'yes'. When you think about it, it would be very stupid to spend more than 50$ on one game.

Yet another reason the 360's a waste of money.

I'd pay 5,000$.

Think about it, 100$ is very cheap for a game like Halo 3. Most of the Halo 2 fans played at least 1000 hours on a 50$ games. 50/1000 = 0,05$/hour. It's cheap for the fun you have. You can easily spend 50$ in a day with food and other short-time using products, or have a game you can play for Years.

If i play 1000 hours of Halo 3, 5000/1000 = 5$/hour. Yeah it's expensive, but other activities like sports cost even more. Or with 5,000$, you could get a cheap car that you don't even have fun to drive. Halo 3 > cheap car.

to get halo3 when it first comes out.

(10:19:49 PM) Scruss: oh and pezza, i saw what you did to that cat
(10:20:17 PM) Pezza: You were the one with the video camera breathing heavily. Of course you saw.

Yes, it better be like a year worth of gameplay though.

You DO realise that most games are 59.99. So... you're saying that you dont buy many games right?

It won't cost that much but if it did it would all depend on what you got for 100 bucks. Two discs, one for Campaign and one for a hugely robust (like MMO robust) Multiplayer, and a specials edition DVD might be worth a hundred clams, but who am I kidding? I'd probably still get it even if it was'nt anything special. BLAST you Halo and your addictive ways!!!

  • 06.11.2006 10:26 AM PDT

A witty signature.

Hell no. At that price, it would be more worth it to mod your 360 (if possible) and pirate it than buy it for $100.

Ya, get the 10,000,000 then buy Halo 3 with that money. Your happy now.

I would pay 100$ if I really really had to, but I would wait a few days and go to my nearest used game store and get a used copy for about 60 bucks.

  • 06.11.2006 10:54 AM PDT

There is no doubt in my mind that I would play $100 for Halo 3. I play Halo and Halo 2 99.99% of the time, and I can easily say that I have sqeezed a ton of money out of them. I havn't had a need to buy a game since Halo 2, so that right there has probably saved me over $200.

Help a brother out. Click on the referral link, sign up for a fun game, log in once for the next couple of days, then you never have to think about it again!

And yes. I understand how pathetic that is, but nobody reads these things anyway... right?

Hells ya. That's all that needs to be said.

I think it would be a good investment, as I normally buy a new game once every other month or something like that. Therefor, I believe spending slightly less than the price of two games for the amount of time it will keep me occupied (without needing to buy any more games) is definately a good (and money saving) investment.

Just to clarify, since Bungie is owned by Microsoft, the game is only gonna cost $49.99. Now, the LE edition ( if there is one,and I hope there is) will be $5-$10 more.

i game once a month you must be rich, lol iget a game every few months if i am lucky lol. Spending £80 on one game wounldn't be bad if you are going to spend a long time playing it. i have been playing halo 2 for almost two years and i got it for £30 of amazon, it was a bargain, i it is the best game i have ever played. Bungie may be able to make another game as good as halo 2, but i don't know how they could get better than it.

thanks for all the post guys.
